"Good breakfast and our kids loved the private pool. Everything was great and the owners were friendly. We didn’t realise that the three rooms are actually seperate buildings all within the same enclosed private compound but that was fine and fun for kids. Only slight negative was that one of the rooms smelt damp and musty but the other 2 were fine so we just used those 2 as our youngest wanted to sleep on the couch in our room rather than by herself in the musty smelling room. "I had a disappointing experience with Expedia and the villa listed on their platform. This villa was advertised as being near downtown Ubud, but in reality, it was located far out in the countryside, nowhere close to the city. This false advertisement caused a lot of inconvenience, especially since there was no taxi service available for pickup or transportation. "Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. "Too far away from town"

"We liked everything! The place is very quiet in a tranquil forest. Pande is the best, this guy is doing literally everything for the guests to have a lovely stay! Villas are spacious, clean and a really nice design. It's absolutely gorgeous to wake up and enjoy the view and the sound of birds and river! Breakfast very delicious. All staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone that enjoys nature! Lovely place!! Thank you our brother Pande! Greetings...

"The villas are incredibly well made, and everything is just so easy to organise! The area around the villas is what I had pictured when I thought of “original ubud” which is what our driver said about the area. The street is quiet - no traffic- and an ebike tour was the most traffic we saw the whole time. It was close to all the great sites - heaps of waterfalls around, goa gajah, the water temple, the rice fields. A great place to base yourself out of, however you might never want to leave...

"The place was perfect! The staff was amazing and we had all we needed and then some. The pool, beach and grounds were meticulously groomed and the place was so quiet. Our cook Ita was amazing - we had authentic Bali food each meal and there wasn’t 1 dish we didn’t eat and live! Dharma our driver was family by the end of our trip - very safe driving and alway cheerful and smiling. Would 100% recommend! "
