"I was pretty happy with my experience. Only "complaint" was the lack of laundry on the premises (I like doing my own laundry) and the limited selection in terms or vending machines. Not really complaints just things I kinda look for when I stay at hotels outside a shopping district."

"The rooms were decently clean, although there was something left in the freezer, which was in a bag. Probably from the previous guest.. should’ve taken that out. But all in all was great. Staff super friendly especially Nicole, very accommodating, she checked us in. Breakfast was good but not excellent, our poached eggs were unfortunately overcooked, like boiled eggs… but staffs super nice and friendly. Service was excellent!"

"We had a lovely stay at Beachcomber Toukley. Our room had a wonderful view overlooking the pool and the lake, which made our stay even more relaxing. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that the small sofa in the room had quite a few stains on it, which made it look worn and could do with a thorough clean or replacement. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Thank you for a great experience!"

"Cockroach in bathroom in the middle of the night. Awful smell from the bathroom drain that we ended up putting small towels over it to stop the smell. Mould spores and mould on curtains in lounge room. They put us in a room directly across from the golf club and restaurant. From 4.30am very loud noises and people congregating behind my bedroom window talking loudly. Told reception who couldn’t care less and that’s it’s a golf resort so what do you expect. Still they are happy to take your $400...

We were lucky to get upgraded to the three bedrooms beachfront cabin with direct view of the ocean from our kitchen/lounge room, so we can enjoy the nice view of the waves while having our meals. The staff members are very helpful and friendly. Our cabin is well equipped with full size fridge, gas cook tops, kitchen amenities, washer and dryer, so it is very convenient for families with kids. "Upon arrival, staff member was very courteous and helpful. Cabin was nice. Smelled like mould in the cupboards. Microwave didnt work. Leaks in the bathroom from the shower and under the sink. An hour of our stay was taken away as we left the cabin for breakfast and came back to find the cleaner in our cabin. Staff upon leaving did nothing to deal with us having an hour shaved off our paid time. Overall, was an ok stay. Grounds were clean. Amenities were nice."
