Cute house, perfect location!

The house is really cute in a very pretty, quiet neighborhood. The beds are comfortable and the house was spotless. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates etc that we needed for cooking for our weekend stay. We drove into downtown but you could easily walk. Check in was easy and the listing was accurate. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great weekend!

Whitman College Holiday Pickup

This was a very cute place to stay as we visited Whitman College to pick up our freshman daughter for her Christmas break. It is very conveniently located in relation to the college and the downtown area. Nice amenities and well supplied kitchen. Wonderful weekend!

Wonderful location in town

We absolutely loved the Francis house. The location was great, we walked everywhere. Beautiful historic neighborhood near Whitman College and downtown. Very clean and quiet home with ample amenities for our stay. Would definitely stay here again and maybe next time bring our dog as the yard would be perfect for him.

Walla Walla get away

We loved the comfort of the house and the quiet neighborhood. Walked through the parks and downtown. Such a great location. We have been visiting WW since our daughter went to Whitman in 2007. Love the town and the people. We will be back. Thank you!

Exceeded expectations

Clean, cute house! Updated and comfortable. Two bedrooms as listed, but we were pleasantly surprised to find a third room with couch and tv that served well for a teen wanting their own space! We would definitely stay here again.

Sweet stay

Totally enjoyed staying here with my small dog. So relaxing and comfortable. Only suggestion is to post a small "Watch your step" sign on entrance gate to highlight entry step. I'll definitely be back here with friends.

Just Right

Liked being near the parks. Perfect for a couple. Understand an upgrade is coming. Property with the exception of the kitchen and bathrooms is a bit tired. The furnace is loud suggesting it too may be in need of an upgrade. We enjoyed our visit very much.

It’s a delightful two bedroom, well furnished, well appointed home within relatively easy walking to downtown through the Whitman campus. Backs right up to the park, quiet. We will stay here again!

Walla Walla house

Functional little home in a great location. We stayed here for a few days while visiting Walla Walla. The location of the house was really great, walking distance to both the university and downtown shops. The neighborhood is also really nice and quiet. The house is functional and comfortable, we had no problems. The kitchen is sufficient. Beds were comfortable.

13 year tradition

Every fall we venture to Walla Walla with our couple friends to wine taste and eat at the amazing restaurants in the area. Every year we stay at the Francis House. This was our 13th year and everything was incredible as usual. We love this house so much. The house is well stocked and so comfortable. It feels a little bit like returning home when we first walk in the doors.

Friends Food and Fine Wine

Mostly, let me tell you about the place. Someone did a good job of design/remodeling. It was good for the four of us and could have slept a couple more. Furniture was comfortable, beds were too (softer than I like so most people will be very happy). Kitchen is well stocked (we cooked in one night and made a great meal). We found the neighborhood to be quiet and surrounding homes well tended. The walk to Main street was just over a mile and takes you through the pretty Whitman College campus. While we tasted at a number of tasting rooms, our favorite continues to be Truth Teller Wines. Brassieré Four is still our favorite dinner spot but if I were left to myself, I would eat at La Cocina de La Abuela every day. Best Mexican food I have had since I lived there and Manuel , the owner, is a delight.

Great stay!

We had a great weekend at the house. Very clean, comfortable and close to downtown and parks. Great backyard for the dogs and fully stocked amenities. Highly recommend and we will be back!
