We had fallen in love with the Sands Hotel in an earlier overnight visit (2023). The ocean view from the room was exceptional and the weather was pleasant so we slept with the doors open listening the to ocean and the breeze. Staff was wonderful and meals were good. Very pleasant and it is surrounded by nature and quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The fire place was very effective. Just a great experience and we highly recommend.

The sheets on the double were stained, the blankets smelt used and needed a wash (as in smelt sweaty like my kids blankets after a week!)...the stovetop was dirty, the oven was dirty, the floor needed a sweep..There is a cleaning fee so maybe down to the cleaning service rather than the owner.
