"Great little cottage. Comfortable and full of character. Lovely views across the town to the beach and estuary. All the practical stuff was taken care of eg the kitchen was really well supplied with utensils, pots and pans crockery and appliances should you want to self cater for some meals. Plenty of bedding options for any season. And the living room is light and surprisingly spacious - Perfect for family time and relaxing and enjoying the charming surroundings. "Absolutely loved our stay, such a beautiful home in an incredible location. We had everything we needed and everything was clean and tidy. Always a win when you can have a hot spa after a surf too. 10/10 Would recommend "

"Great property, great manager. Lovely situation and surroundings. Enjoyed the winter fires!!! And bath!!!No "coffee maker" as listed (tho it didn't worry us.) Also no laundry. Even a clothes line would have been good.Thanks for a delightful stay."

"Beware, water pressure was very poor and temperature was lukewarm. It made a difference for 3 adults trying to shower at 5.30am. There is no insulation and the railway is nearby. It felt like we were sleeping in a tent next to the train tracks, so not good for light sleepers. Comi g fro. Someone who lives next to an airport. Location was great if you're attending events at Turangawaewae marae or Hopuhopu but it's not worth 310 a night that I paid. Won't be doing that again, particularly with the...

"After spending our wedding night at the Silo we returned 3 years later to spend our anniversary in Raglan. The Silo is such a wonderful place to stay, amenities are excellent and the views are awesome. With great options for indoor or outdoor dining it is such a pleasure to stay here. The friendly warm greeting from Denise gets your stay off to a grea start. "
