The Pacifica Inn is located in the beautiful Mauna Loa Estates just one mile away from the town of Volcano. In Volcano you will find restaurant’s and little shops to enjoy during your stay. The Hawai’i Volcano National Park is only five minutes away. This makes The Pacifica Inn a perfect location after a long day of experiencing the best of what Hawai’i has to offer. The Hilo International Airport is 40 minutes away and renting a vehicle is the best way for transportation around the Big island. The Pacifica Inn is located in Volcano which is in a high altitude of 4000 feet. Volcano is very tropical and rain can fall at any time during the day or night. Temperatures can get cold at night so we highly recommend you pack warm clothes along with your swimsuits. The water on the property is not consumable and we recommend guests bring their own drinking water during their stay. This property has can be used for weddings, honeymoons, small gatherings and events. There are 4 units all on one beautiful lush tropical property for your family vacation or event.
This private property has a house with two separated private apartments that consists of a 1 bedroom The Gecko Room and 1 studio The Volcano Room with fully-equipped kitchens. Walk down the beautiful pathway to your other two units that are behind the house. These two units The Nene Room and The Hapu’u Room have their own private entrance with kitchenettes and full bathrooms.
This beautiful property has a very dense and lush tropical forest with tropical fern trees and Hawaiian flowers.
All the The rooms offer large wall-surrounded windows that allow you to view the rainforest from your room giving you a true Hawaiian tropical experience.
You will have access to entire private property of The Pacifica Inn all to yourself.
There is free and private parking on the property in front of the house that can park 4 vehicles.
There is additional street parking available out front. Due to Mauna Loa Estate community rules there is no overnight street parking.

Please note: The hot tub is currently off limits to guests.

There is a free bus service the Hele-On bus that takes you to the National Park.
Upon booking this unit, guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Pacifica Inn, property owners, its officers, agents, employees, and servants from all claim, suits, or actions of every name, kind, and description, brought for, or on account of: (A) injuries to or death of any person, or (B) damage to any property of any kind whatsoever and to whomsoever belonging,
(C) any sanctions, penalties, or claims of damages resulting from guest's failure to comply with the house rules, host/manager directions, local laws, or (D) any other loss or cost, including but not limited to that caused by the concurrent active or passive negligence of manager or owner and its officers, agents, employees, or servants, resulting from the performance of any work, maintenance or the involvement required to maintain safe and comfortable rental Unit.
