"The house is lovely. Plenty of space to be comfortable. Beautiful views of the lake. Only drawback is that you can't get to the water. The firepit is on a pretty good hill, we couldn't us it because one of our guests couldn't manage the slope of the hill. Still a nice feature to offer. The hostess left muffins for us to eat, delicious. Check in and check out I had to contact the hostess, we never received our instructions. But they were quick to respond and it wasn't a major issue. "Pictures are deceiving. The building itself is old, moldy, and downright gross. The neighbors driveway is directly next to the entry way to the "cabin." The building is ok from the outside, but the location bites. The path to the lake is blocked by a large dead tree. The The windows that face the neighbors have no curtians and you can see into the property from outside especially at night. The neighbors are outside from 6 am until 9 pm. "We came to the area for the weekend to spend some time with our adult children before one of them left the state for a new job. The home was the most clean VRBO we have ever stayed in. The host was responsive and so helpful. We will definitely be returning to this home!"

"The house was great for our group. We loved playing board games out on the huge front porch, we appreciated the great division of space (perfect for multi-family gatherings) and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. We made separate day trips to Mammoth Cave and Lousiville, and the distance was perfect. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you! "

"Nice clean new house. River was really high and it rained most of the weekend so we didn’t get out and do as much as we would have liked. Screened in porch was wonderful and fire pit made plenty of s’mores!!! "

"Shortage of toilet paper... back yard fence need to repair for enclosure for dogs. Missing bed sheet in one room. Very nice and relaxing."

"Our Memorial Day weekend was made so special by being able to spend time together in this beautiful location. The house is well-appointed with loads of space. The beds are comfortable, and the updated bathrooms were a plus. The kitchen is well stocked and conveniently laid out for cooking large or small meals. Though the house is amazing, the best thing about our experience was the host. She was responsive, informative and thoughtful at every turn. We will most definitely be back! "

"We stayed at this home for a weekend getaway. The property was well maintained and comfortable and the outside deck/yard are perfect for hosting BBQ and sitting around the fire. The marina and boat launch were convenient and just a few minutes away from the house which quick and easy lake access to launch the boat and get the lake days started! Our stay was excellent! "This booking was absolutely amazing! We took just a weekend away to attend a Taylor swift event for my daughter and the place really met our needs, everything was as it was advertised and nice location, it’s a wooded area so be okay with nature, which was exactly what we wanted, we would definitely book again! "As soon as we pulled in we were in love!!! Everything was Great! The appearance was just a cool hang out sort of vibe. We all loved everything from cleanliness to the awesome bar and fire pit area. James was a very helpful friendly host and was quick to assist. None of us wanted to leave!! It was myself, my hubby and our to Great friends and couple Jasun and Shannon.We will definitely be back!!"
