We inform that the price of the house that we have given is for 2 people, for 4 or 6 people they are 15 euros additional.

House with pool in quiet area, with wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean. Ideal for families with young children or for a holiday with best friends, Casa Tabares has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining room, living room with fireplace, and office with Internet, multifunction printer-fax and computer.

Comfort has also been thought of with complete equipment. The house maintains a pleasant temperature thanks to its central heating during the colder days, (already included in the price).

A personal welcome gift, with wine and fresh fruits, completes the comfortable feeling of the house in a very successful way. Sports fans can also enjoy the great hiking trails that start from the same house.
The house is surrounded by gardens, large terraces with comfortable furniture for your enjoyment, barbecue and land of 3000m. squares with fruit trees, from which you can; as well as a heated pool (* optional air conditioning with an extra cost of 15 Euros per day)

The property also has gardens planted with ornamental plants of both local origin (endemisms) whose flowering does not depend on spring, being able to find the gardens in winter with numerous flowers. Likewise, it should be noted that in the garden area, special attention has been given to the planting of endemic species of the Canary Islands such as Macaronesia, and the client can enjoy beautiful specimens of Phoenix Canariensis (Palmera Canaria), Dracaena Drago, (Drago), Ocotea Foetens (Til), Laurus Azórica (Laurel), Ilex Canariensis (Acebiño), Atlantic Pistacia (Almácigo), Convolvulus Floridus (Guaidil), Rhamnus Glandulosa (Sanguino), etc ...

Es una maravilla ver el mar, la casa es bonita y agradable. La piscina climatizada es recomendable para poder bañarse. Tranquilidad absoluta.

Wir haben Ende März 2018 in der Villa Mayo einen sehr schönen Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus und das Anwesen sind wirklich sehr hübsch! Leider ist es um diese Jahreszeit, insbesondere auf der Ostseite der Insel und auf der geographischen Höhe des Hauses noch recht kühl, sodass wir aufgrund der Temperatur nur einmal auf der Terrasse frühstücken konnten. Die restliche Zeit war es leider zu kalt, zu windig, zu wolkig oder es hat geregnet, sodass wir den Pool, obwohl beheizt, nicht einmal genutzt haben. Ein Auto ist bei der Lage des Hauses auf jeden Fall erforderlich. Auf der Westseite der Insel, die mit dem Auto innerhalb von etwa 30-45 min zu erreichen ist, hatten wir stets gutes Wetter und konnten tolle Wanderungen machen oder uns an den Strand legen.

schöne Aussicht (wen der Flughafen nicht stört),etwas antiquarisch eingerichtet,aber schöne Farbgebung der Räumlichkeiten.Von daher würde ich es durchaus weiterempfehlen. Allerdings:Wer hier mal schrieb,daß der Flughafen nicht zu hören sei,der muß wohl was an den Ohren haben.Er ist nicht laut,aber im Gegensatz zu mir mag nicht jeder Flughäfen.Auch den direkten Blick darauf finde ich interessant,und die ganzen Bewegungen darauf,aber eben nicht jeder.Der Garten ist schön groß,allerdings war der Pool nicht wie im Anzeigentext "beheizt",sondern wohl nur "beheizbar".Angekündigter Poolboy kam gar nicht.Die Liegen und Gartenstühle sind O.K.,teilweise wohl schon etwas älter.Die Liegenauflagen sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig "bewittert".Dann lieber Abnehmbare und die Gäste bitten,diese nach Gebrauch irgendwo(müßte auch zur Verfügung gestellt werden)zu verstauen. Grundstücksfremde Hunde kreuzen das Grundstück und man muß auf ihre Hinterlassenschaften achten.Nachts viel Hundegebell. Das Haus selbst ist für "rural" recht geräumig und nett ausgestattet,eben alt,teilweise klebt an Möbeln ein Schild,daß diese nicht zu benutzen sind,also nur Deko,weil alt. Ab und an begnet einem IKEA,was auch O.K. ist. Türen mitunter sehr schwer gängig,müßten vielleicht mal gängig gemacht werden,damit auch alte Leute sie weit genug öffnen können. Großer Pluspunkt ist die Heizmöglichkeit in jedem Zimmer,da es bei unserem Aufenthalt mitunter sehr "frisch" war. Allerdings:Obwohl der empfangenden Dame bekannt,wurde die Spülung der Toilette im kleinen Bad erst acht(!)Tage nach Ankunft repariert und auch erst auf unser Drängen hin. Solange mußten vier eine Toilette benutzen. Mehrere Leuchtmittel in den Lampen waren kaputt.Der angekündigte PC ist nicht funktionsfähig(war für den Anwalt von uns mißlich,da er somit nicht arbeiten konnte),der CD-Player war nicht nutzbar durch zu starkes Lautsprechereigengeräusch,der Fernseher schaltete 5-Minutenweise immer aus,bis er sich nach 45 Minuten warmgelaufen hatte,nach der ersten Woche kam niemand um Handtücher und Bettwäsche zu wechseln(wie angekündigt/verabredet),weshalb ich dann selbst gewaschen hab.Erst den Tag danach, dann allerdings auch mit kleiner Hausreinigung.Eine Woche später waren wir abwesend und weder gab es neue Bettwäsche noch irgendeine Reinigung.Handtücher wurden lediglich so hingelegt.Fazit:Wir haben was draus gemacht. Kann man auch, wenn man's kann.Aber einiges könnte anderen mehr aufstoßen.Für mehr Leider zu wenig Platz hier.

Wir haben die Zeit in diesem wundervollen Haus sehr genossen. Haus, Ausstattung und Garten lassen eigentlich keine Wünsche offen. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und behaglich eingerichtet und der Blick zur aufgehenden Sonne lässt das Herz höher schlagen. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Maravillosa la casa y el entorno

Das Haus ist gemütlich und vollständig eingerichtet. Bei der Einrichtung handelt es sich um einen Mix aus Antiquitäten und IKEA. Die meisten Möbel sind allerdings alt und schön. Der Blick ist wirklich so wie es die Bilder versprechen. Der Pool war super gepflegt und es kam sogar jemand vorbei, der diesen zwischendurch reinigte. Das Haus liegt einsam am Ende der Straße und es ist einfach traumhaft ruhig. Der Garten ist schön angelegt und es zieren viele Pflanzen die Terrasse. Schlüsselübergabe und Check-In erfolgten schnell und unkompliziert, ebenso die Abreise. Die Küche ist etwas spärlich ausgestattet. Wenn mehrere Personen ein Glas Wein trinken wollen, muss improvisiert werden. Es sind viele Töpfe vorhanden, aber leider nur wenige Pfannen von schlechter Qualität. Der Grillplatz im Garten war ungepflegt und nicht einladend und der Sonnenschirm war durchlöchert. Das Fazit unseres Aufenthalts fällt allerdings positiv aus. Das Haus hat Flair. Es wurde 1915 in dem für La Palma typischen Stil errichtet. Es ist alles sauber und gut in Schuss gehalten. Es wurde viel Liebe zum Detail aufgebracht bei der Einrichtung. Es ist alles in allem einfach gemütlich.

Had a wonderful 16 days in various configurations (2-7 people). Plenty of space even for 6 adults + infant, though especially the living room is rather dark, at least for our Nordic taste. The electrical and hot-water systems were under some strain, probably due in part to heavy rains at Christmastime. Thanks to the house manager Gloria for quickly sorting out all problems! The garden is large and beautiful and would be even more of an asset at a warmer time of year, although don't expect great sunsets as it's on the east side of the island. Renting a car is advised, though not absolutely essential if you like walking: the GR 130 trail goes right past the house and a pretty 2 km walk along it takes you to the village centre with supermarket, bus stop and taxi service. The 9 km walk to Santa Cruz took us 3 hours, and we managed to walk the volcano route by taking a taxi up to El Pilar and the bus back from Fuencaliente.

La maison est un peu sombre car les murs sont d'une couleur trop sombre. Elle sent l'humidité. Malgré cela c'est une belle maison, une très belle vue et un terrain en terrasse magnifique. Par contre, personne n'est venue nous guider et cela a été très difficile à trouver. On nous a guidés par téléphone et lorsqu'on s'est levé à 4h du matin et que l'on a deux vols sur le dos j'aurais vraiment apprécié un autre accueil. Cordialement

Das Haus ist wirklich gut ausgestattet, sauber, die Technik funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Lage ist bei ca 500 Höhenlage nicht zu heiß. Der Garten ist groß und schön bepflanzt. Die Küche ist (für alle Selbstversorger wichtig) gut ausgestattet. Wenn das Wetter gut ist, kann man schön im Freien essen..aber aufpassen die Eidechsen sind mindestens genauso hungrig. Für jeden der abseits vom Rummel urlauben will empfehlenswert. Unbedingt notwendig ist ein PKW, da das Haus etwas abgelegen ist. Ohne die betreuende Gloria hätten wir das Haus sicher nicht gefunden. Unklar ist jedoch wann und ob überhaupt geputzt oder Wäschewechsel durchgeführt werden.

The property itself is very nice with 3 spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and plenty of living space. The landscaping outside was really well thought through with a lovely terrace area and a cool area under the shade of some peach trees, to escape to when the midday sun gets too much. The outside lighting is particularly impressive and it was lovely to sit out in the evening. The pool is a bit small for swimming, but fine for cooling off. Gloria was very friendly and the property thoroughly clean when we arrived. The location works well with easy access to Santa Cruz (20/25 mins drive), beaches and walking. The local small town Mazo has plenty to offer in both amenities and attractions and we were lucky enough to catch a 1940s festival on our last day. It's a 5 minute drive or there is nice walk along a track that takes 1/2 an hour or so. The only slight down side was a neighbour who has three dogs that bark a lot. It did not bother us too much and they do not live right next door - around 100 yards away. There are a lot dogs that bark at night so imagine that is part of the experience of La Palma. I also recommend the Rough Guide and Walk La Palma as these made sure we got the most out of our 2 weeks.

Das Haus lässt kaum Wünsche offen: 3 Schlafzimmer (Betten mit guten Decken!), zwei Bäder, gut eingerichteter Küche, Esszimmer, Wohnzimmer und Arbeitszimmer. Auch der Garten mit beheizbarem Pool ist fein. Die Betreuung vor Ort funktioniert ausgezeichnet. Wir können dieses Haus wirklich empfehlen.

Wir haben gemeinsam mit unserem kleinen Sohn vier Wochen auf La Palma in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbringen dürfen. Die Casa Tabares liegt etwas abseits mitten in herrlicher Natur. Das Haus ist außer ordentlich gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Vor Ort wurden wir sehr freundlich von Gloria unterstützt, wann immer wir etwa neue Bettwäsche oder Handtücher benötigten. Besonders genossen haben wir den tollen Ausblick von der Terrasse und die Abende vor dem gemütlichen Kaminfeuer. Wenn das Wetter auf der Ostseite der Insel mal nicht so gut ist, empfiehlt sich eine Fahrt auf die andere Seite von La Palma. Dort schien fast jeden Tag die Sonne.

Original La Palma Finca, Einrichtung charmant mit altem Charakter. Alles Notwendige war vorhanden. Platz ausreichend für 4 Personen, da 2 Bäder vorhanden. Guter Schlaf in den Betten. Lage der Finca abseits, deshalb Auto unbedingt notwendig. Meerblick genial, bei gutem Wetter Sicht auf Teneriffa und La Gomera. Außenanlagen gepflegt und sauber. Auffinden der Finca nach telefon. Kontakt mit Gloria kein Problem, da wir uns mit ihr in Mazo getroffen haben. Bei der Finca kurze Einweisung durch Gloria. Falls wir etwas benötigt hätten, Anruf jederzeit möglich. Einkaufsmöglichkeit in Mazo, 4 km entfernt. Wir würden jederzeit das Haus wieder mieten.

Zunächst einmal ist zu sagen, dass das Haus keine Wünsche offen lässt. Wir haben es ordentlich vorgefunden und an Ausstattung ist alle da, was man braucht - die Küche ist von der Mikrowelle bis zum Sandwichtoaster komplett eingerichtet, die Betten waren bequem, TV mit deutschen Programmen, DVD - Player, WLAN mit bereit liegender Nummer vorhanden. Traumhaft der Blick über das Meer und das Grundstück mit dem kleinen Pool und eine schöne Ausgangsbasis für die Erkundung dieser wirklich schönen Insel. Eine wirkliche Hausübergabe allerdings gab es weder zu Beginn noch am Ende. Die Dame, die als Kontaktperson angegeben war, teilte uns mit, dass der Schlüssel unter der Fußmatte zu finden und dort auch wieder am Abreisetag zu deponieren sein. Es gab lediglich am Tag nach unserer Anreise eine Kurzvisite von zwei Minuten und einen Einsatz zum Rasenschneiden, da wäre wohl etwas mehr drin... Ansonsten ist das Haus - wie gesagt - absolut zu empfehlen!
