"Wonderful stay at Hotel Balestri in Florence. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was incredible every morning—fresh juices, perfectly scrambled eggs, spectacular bacon, and great yogurts. The bar was fantastic too; the bartender mixed excellent cocktails. Rooms are on the smaller side, which is expected in a building from the 1860s, but that’s a minor note. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of everything. Highly recommended!"

As soon as we got to the facility, a staff member sat down with us and reviewed the map with us and how to get to important places that we wanted to get to. "This was the first place we have stayed at in our 3 weeks in Italy that received us with the air condition already on and all rooms were cooled. We had the family deluxe room with 1 double bed (which were 2 twins pushed together- not a big deal for us) and 2 twins pushed together beds, one for each of my teenagers. LOCATION was PHENOMENAL— close to all shops, historic sites and food everywhere. Staff were very warm and inviting. I would absolutely book here again if I find myself in Florence...

"Fanatstic bed and breakfast right in Florence’s city center! If you are looking for an intimate stay, I would highly recommend. If you are adverse to stairs or are older, a caution that you have to climb a few flights of stairs to get to your room. They are wide stairs and the staff is extremely helpful and helped us carry up our bags when we checked in."
