"This house was very nice. The pool area was the biggest hit for the family. Love the size of pool, the easy in and easy out in the shallow end. There are plenty pool toys and towels supplied. Hot tub was very relaxing. Kitchen and bathrooms have plenty of supplies. "

"It was great to have a little home base while we explore and hike the surrounding area. We also had it pretty nice and cool. Be warn, it doesn’t stay super cool all day as it was hot. It was around the 90s and the ac barely kept the place at 78 during the day. But you’re supposed to be out anyways. Pleasant stay."

"Ronnie was absolutely professional and kind. His boat "Pure Pleasure" completely lived up to its name. Everyone on the dock at the marina was kind. My kiddos enjoyed the boat and all of its amenities. We were able to watch movies, cook what we call "boat burgers", fish on the dock, get some much needed relaxation, as well as listen to some music. We will definitely book again, plus, Starved Rock is only an hour away. My kiddos will have this enjoable memory for a lifetime. Thanks, Ronnie! Many...

"My mom and I spent the weekend here and absolutely loved our stay. We were in the area to hike and eat some yummy local foods. This place was perfect for a quiet getaway where we were able to relax, go hiking, watch movies and go out to some local brewery and pubs. It had all the amenities needed, even some yoga mats to stretch after hiking all morning. Perfect for A quiet hiking getaway "

"Out in the country among the cornfields. Property feels secluded with big beautiful trees surrounding it. Home was clean and comfortable with all the convenient ammentities. Property owner communicated with us often and was very friendly. Would love to stay next time we are in town."

"Outstanding house, especially if you like shore fishing! Worms and corn can get you some big fish. Biggest one we got was 8.5 pounds this time!The house itself is awesome inside and outside! Would 100% recommend. I have been to this house several times already, and will be coming back again for sure!"

"We stayed for two weeks to see various family members who came and went as schedules allowed. Overall, the house is great on many levels, if lacking in a few specific areas. First, the great, the hosts are incredibly receptive, friendly, helpful and gave the distinct impressions that they want to make your stay as good as possible. The common spaces are wonderful as well as the main pool, with plenty of space for people of all ages to enjoy themselves. Next, the good, the dining rooms were great...

"Good house with tons of activities to do, just in the house alone. Everything was well stocked and the bnb also included complimentary snacks and food which I found very thoughtful and kind. The host was even able to accommodate an earlier arrival time for me. My only suggestion for improvement is that the master suite's shower had a very strong/stinky smell. However, that's not a big deal and the stay was definitely a 5-star experience with all of the options and amenities provided."

"Overall this day was really well. House was old and outdated. Had only one TV in the entire house where there could have been four or five TVs. There was only one and it was a small TV in the front room that was on a swivel. One electrical plug did not work and the plug for the bathtub did not work. The beds were old and stiff and springy and only full size beds. It would have been nice to have at least a queen or a king for my wife and I otherwise not a bad place. Had a full size basement....
