The Space:

Rosemont by Tiny Away is a cozy tiny house located in the quiet town of Verges Creek, just 15 minutes from Crescent Head and 35 minutes to Port Macquarie’s famous surf beaches, with local gems like Riverside and Bellingen Markets close by.



Unplug and unwind in our character-filled cabin, nestled behind the main residence barn and overlooking a tranquil, tree-lined paddock. Ideal for couples or solo travelers seeking unique holiday homes and a restful escape from everyday city noise.



A cozy 139 square foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.



IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note, this is a working farm. For a safe and enjoyable visit, follow the "Farm guidelines" shared before booking.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny home, private paddock, and campfire area. The host’s residence is private unless medical help is needed. For repairs or maintenance, please contact the host.



The Neighborhood:

Rosemont by Tiny Away is located in the quiet town of Verges Creek, just 15 minutes from Crescent Head and 35 minutes from Port Macquarie, NSW. The area is surrounded by beautiful scenery and wetlands, home to native wildlife such as koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and more.



Looking to explore? Visit the Riverside Markets on the first Saturday of the month or the Bellingen Markets on the third Saturday. You can also head to Kempsey for a local experience. For delicious Japanese food, try Suzu in Port Macquarie.



In Gladstone, our favourite spots to eat include The Heritage Hotel and The Hub. Just 10 minutes away in Fredericton, you'll also find the Cheese Factory Garden Restaurant. All are within easy reach of markets, shops, and great food.

Don’t miss the stunning local beaches, including Crescent Head, Goolawah Beach, Killick Beach, Pebbly Beach, and Crescent Head Lookout.



Getting Around:

By car:

- From Sydney Kempsey is 4 1/2 hrs

- From Kempsey to Rosemont is 10 Mins off freeway.

- 2WD access.



By public transport:

- There is a train from Sydney to Kempsey, and a taxi would be a 10 min drive to Rosemont.

- There is a bus to Crescent Head from Kempsey that takes 20 mins.

- There is a coach to Kempsey also.



Other Things to Note:

- Wi-Fi is available

- Firewood provided for free

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- No smoking allowed inside/outside the tiny house

- No garbage collection; bring your garbage in a trash bag

- Children are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION

- We have friendly dogs on our property, so children are safe

- Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, 2degrees & Spark have weak signal

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge



Farm guidelines



- Do not enter horse paddocks without the host's permission

- We advise guests to speak in a low tone as horses are easily startled

- Remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks

- Please do not feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health



Important note:



- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
