"Quaint cabin nestled amid the pines-a nature-lover's dream come true. Went to bed admiring the starry night and woke up to the sounds of birds chirping, then headed out on a different hike each day. The hikes (and much more) are well desribed in the host's folder. The kitchen is well supplied and inviting to prepare your own meals throughout your stay. Overall cozy cabin interior (especially the downstairs). Hot shower and great-working heating system was a big plus for someone like me who is...

"Beautiful home with an exceptional view. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved the views from the back decks, especially the upstairs bathroom. Suggestion to arrive before dark is important. A little confusing, because the home address is an even # located on the same side of the road as an odd # address. Once we located the home, all was very easy and the notebook in the home was very helpful. A great stay in a beautiful place. "

"This is my second time staying at this Cabin . It’s the perfect location! It’s right down the street from the lake and a very short walking distance to all the shops. The cabin is very cozy and rustic.. Excellent communication from the owner made for an easy check-in. "

"We enjoyed this large home with our large family. It was great to have space for parents, grandparents, and kids - indoors and outdoors. Heidi clearly defined the rules of the home, and was responsive to our questions. Although there was no air conditioning, with the breeze and fans going, we were able to keep the rooms cool. PMC is a great community to visit."

"We had our annual family PMC retreat at the Star House. All eleven of us, from 2 to 73, loved it and hope to return next year. Kristin is a responsive, welcoming, and thorough host. We highly recommend a stay here. "

"Beautiful tree house cabin could use some cleaning though lots of spider webs indoor and outdoor carpet could use some steam cleaning had toe nail clippings found on floor by bed and was filthy. Dining table chairs not one was safe to sit on they were all unstable and 1 completely broken very unsafe. "

"This place is well located, especially with kids, you can walk everywhere in the small town you might want to go to; the pool, downtown for an ice cream, or the playground. The overall area is beautiful and very outdoorsy, we went hiking and saw lots of mountain bikers, runners, etc. The house is as advertised. The kitchen could use more dishes and serving platters/bowls, and the place was a bit grimy (as many rentals are). Overall we had a lovely stay. "
