Summary:

Enjoy staying in the Valletta’s downtown area with this 1-bedroom, 80 sqm apartment located on the 3rd and 4th floors of a residential building WITHOUT an elevator. There is a private rooftop terrace (smoking is not allowed). Self check-in starts from 3:00PM. A refundable damage deposit is required, in full accordance with platform's policies. *Please note construction works are currently taking place all over the Maltese islands, some disturbances to be expected during working hours.

Property Details:

This 80-sqm apartment is located on the 3rd and 4th floors with an elevator. There is a private rooftop terrace for your enjoyment (smoking is not allowed). There is a space that can be used as a living, dining or home office area. It is furnished with a sofa bed, flat-screen TV and a dining table and chairs. There is a high-speed Wi-Fi Internet connection (1/Gbps) suitable for working from home and making video calls.



The fully equipped kitchen has a sink, toaster, electric tea kettle, full refrigerator, gas stove, drip coffee machine, oven, microwave and more. Full sets of dishes, cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots, pans and kitchen utensils. There is no clothes washing machine, but a laundromat is nearby. An iron and ironing board, vacuum, mop and broom are available.



The bedroom is street facing with a double bed with a superior quality mattress. Please note there is no true door separating it from the living area. Professionally laundered sheets, comforters, pillows and pillowcases are provided to you, as well as bath towels for each guest. The flat has one bathroom accessible via the hallway with a bathtub and hose, toilet and sink. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer plus complementary toilet rolls and hand soap to start your stay.



Our guests’ safety is our top priority, which is why the flat is professionally cleaned and sanitized before each arrival. The apartment is heated throughout during the winter months. There is no air conditioning, but portable fans are provided.

- Please note a noise monitoring device is installed at the property entrance for extra security and to ensure the peace of the property. This device is not located in any sleeping area or bathroom.

About the Valletta Area:

The flat is located in the capital city, Valletta. You are right in the historical, cultural and vital heart of the entire island: just few steps from some of the most beautiful natural beaches of Malta but also from the precious architectural jewels that tell the baroque history of the island.

Here you can enjoy a perfect beach life, but you can also visit the characteristic alleys of the city, the Great Harbour or stroll through Valletta’s beautiful gardens, as The Upper Barrakka Gardens or the Hastings Gardens. This is the perfect base from which to explore Malta’s rich history, landscapes and culture.

Other popular areas of the island, like St. Julian or Spinola Bay, can be easily reached by public bus or with a rental car. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to try out new water sports or take an excursion to the neighboring islands of Gozo and Comino. It is an enchanting place that you cannot miss if you want to know the history and the soul of the Mediterranean Sea.

A baby bed can be provided upon request for an additional fee of €40 for your stay. A baby chair can be provided for €40. Both can be provide for €60. Please inquire once your reservation is confirmed.

*In the instance that you you will NOT be doing a self check-in and a member of our Welcoming Team must meet you to provide the keys: if you arrive between 7:00PM and 10:00PM there will be a €50 late check-in fee. After 10:00PM there will be a €90 check-in fee. This fee is only payable in cash in local currency. Kindly give notice via SMS or email if you will be delayed and unable to check in at your pre-arranged time. Our Welcoming Assistant will wait for you at the meeting point.



Management reserves the right to enter the property for purposes of inspection, maintenance, cleaning, or to show the unit to potential tenants. The Guest must allow Management or their representative (including workmen), with reasonable notice, access to the property at any reasonable time during their stay (except in an emergency or if a problem needs sorting out quickly and they cannot be contacted. In these urgent situations, Management can enter the property without giving prior notice). The Management has the additional right to conduct viewings of the property between the hours of 8:00 and 19:00.

Not up to expectations

This property was listed as 'newly' renovated, which only works if 'newly' entails 10 years ago. It's in fact quite run down and not well maintained, without any soul and character. Thought the rooftop is lovely, the rusty BBQ stove is not something anybody wants to use. It's funished at the bare minimum and the toilet seat was broken as well as the entry door difficult to close, etc etc etc. After complaining, we were ensured that the technicians will look into it. Anyway, not our issue but just wanted to warn other renters to be aware of the shortcomings and that the advert is not in line with reality.
