"The hotel is in a great location. The pool and bar are fantastic with opportunity to swim in the sea. However, for our taste the decor was a bit dated and in a few places felt it needed updating (cracked tiles etc). Finally, check in was a bit slow. Other than that, I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again when we return to Malta."

La camera era ampia e confortevole e ben insonorizzata, a causa del tasso di umidità necessario aprire la finestra. La colazione era in parte a buffet, per il resto si poteva scegliere alla carta qualche piatto caldo. Personale cordiale e disponibile."

"Wonderful hotel and it’s spotless. The evening menu was limited as salads finished at 6pm and tables must be booked for refreshments and meals, even for residents. Once we knew the system it was manageable due to brilliant staff."

"Very clean, nicely decorated, modern room. Great breakfast, variety of hot and cold choices. Sadly no bar, or mini bar in the fridge but bottled water supplied daily, together with tea and coffee making facilities. Overall a lovely boutique hotel in a great location."

"There is a very loud bar below this hotel and the room didn't stop jumping until 02:00 in the morning. A/C also would not cool so room was stiflingly hot. Booked another hotel overnight and moved out the next morning. Would avoid unless you are a heat-loving, party going night owl!"

"Wonderful stay at this 18-room boutique hotel. The staff was great and everyone was so friendly. We had numerous conversations with the Assistant Manager Mane and the Manager as well as all of the other staff persons. The hotel has a great location and the rooms felt luxurious. We stayed 7 nights which is a leisurely way to visit Valletta and Gozo. They provide a free wine nightly for hotel guests on their lovely rooftop terrace. "

"An absolutely stunning old building in such a perfect area for our first visit to Malta. We stayed in Jean as it was our anniversary celebration and loved having the bathtub in the room to relax in after long days walking up and down the steps in the city. The hotel was a true gem of a find and the area itself was so much nicer to stay in than Valetta in our opinion."

"The fire escape route from room 501 takes you into a spiral stone staircase which is very narrow, dark in places and blocked near the bottom by bags of rubbish. This was reported to the hotel Guest Relations on the day of arrival but when checked the next few days, nothing had changed. This is a death trap for anybody who uses this fire escape route as per the instructions in the room folder and the fire escape plan in the room and corridor outside the room. "Great location, right in the heart of Valletta. Excellent service; the staff who dealt with us went above and beyond. We had the breakfast from Starbucks, which was both fresh and good value for money. Really have nothing but good things to say about this hotel - a lucky find."

"The hotel is in a really great central location. Staff were friendly and it was very clean. Breakfast was basic and repetitive. The hotel advertised a roof top bar, this is not the case it’s a terrace with fantastic views but you have to phone reception if you would like a drink so slightly misleading. Hot water was an issue you had to run the basin tap for at least 5 minutes to get hot water to the shower. We had a king size bed but double bed linen which meant the duvet didn’t cover the...

"The room had everything we needed and was very spacious. The hotel itself has a snack time from 4-5pm where they serve cake and 6-8pm where they serve free local wines. There’s a rooftop and a brilliant view to sit and relax with a wine. Very thoughtful."
