"We had an amazing stay, gorgeous shepherds huts in a lovely location. So nice to have the pub nearby! We stayed during the heatwave and our hut was particularly hot, the staff were so nice to prepare another more shaded hut for us for our second night, we really appreciated the gesture! Highly recommend!"

"We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again."

"For the price we paid the hotel was absolutely fine. Lovely leisure facilities, nice biscuits with the tea and coffee tray. Lift’s available. Bar and restaurant and food were good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Sadly it’s all a bit tired. Cracks in plaster around the building, dark decor just in need of TLC but as I said before, this was reflected in a very good price. I would definitely book here again."

The staff are fantastic Robert the owner great guy. The breakfast is to die for. On a warm night sitting in the courtyard amongst the greenery and when the lights come on it’s magical. "Very clean and great staff. The breakfast was lovely. Nice to find out that the meat from the brasserie is all halal, which meant I had a steak on our second night. Also the ravioli dish was wonderful too. Loved the food. The spa facilities are fantastic and not busy. Other guests were perfectly pleasant, didn't experience any issues considering we were the only non-white couple there and my wife dresses modestly.
