"Beautiful, quiet, small hotel. Spacious comfortable room (we were in a premium room). You'd benefit from having a car here, but it's not essential. It's slightly inconvenient the hotel doesn't offer evening meals but the village is a 5-10min walk downhill and has several restaurants (we went in the quiet season and there were always at least 2 open). "A super new and super clean property (in fact it felt just a little sterile, it was so new and clean, but that’s ok). We had a lovely view over the old town, and parking was quite convenient (and free!). Breakfast was very nice. I would highly recommend for the convenience if you want to say in Sintra and avoid making a day trip to see the town."

"Excellent property from entry to exit. Truly a bed and breakfast. Nicely updated. On a major road, but with secured access. We were treated well, and the breakfast was delightful. As an American traveler who knows European hotels often have a shortage of bath towels and washcloths, I appreciated that they supplied the appropriate linens, including a bathrobe and slippers. "

"We made a last minute decision to visit Sintra rather than spend a second night in Lisbon. We booked Villa Estefânia due to its proximity to attractions and availability of parking. Parking is safe but it's street side on a fairly narrow one way street and availability can be limited. We needed a car to get from the villa to the town and attractions but it was well placed, clean and convenient. The owner made a lovely breakfast for us and was very personable. "Indira was the most wonderful host for us in this journey! Breakfast was always delicious. On our last day, she even accomodated her schedule to our early checked out and helped us carry our luggage to the taxi station. She made our stay enjoyable and very pleasant. Her great customer service, warm personality and joyful demeanor are the reasons why we would like to come back to Sintra. Please take great care of her because she is amazing !!"

"It was an easy walk from the station. I was able to arrive early and leave my bag in the room while they were cleaning, then return in the afternoon and let myself in. The basement room was a whole apartment, there were small windows so it did not feel like a basement. Breakfast was delicious."
