"Our stay at this property was exceptional. We had a tornado warning with strong winds and rains. A tree went down into a neighbors property. The owners were professional and diligent cleaning it up. They communicated the issue and rectified it within hours. All our needs were met from a rental aspect. Little courtesies we’re extended like shampoo and conditioner. Every and I mean every need we could have had was met(fully furnished rooms down to nightlights were provided for, silverware to board...

"What a place, what a host! A fully stocked, lap-of-luxury cabin secluded in the woods with its own dock, and a quick drive to food and fun. Tom is the best kind of host: responsive and helpful. Will be back!"

"We really enjoyed our two night stay. The rental is easy to find and get into. Its a unique property with a lot of personality. The beds were comfortable and the place is well stocked. Upstairs in the loft there are 3 twin beds along with a fun vhs player and lots of old Disney movies. My kids loved that. We will plan to stay again next year. "

"We had a great long weekend in July 2025.PROS - Kitchen is great. Air conditioning is strong in the main room. Beds were comfortable, plenty of sleeping room. Main level master is plenty spacious. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have queen bunks - queen top and bottom. Bathrooms had body wash and shampoo. Plenty of towels were available. Indoor rocking chairs were comfy, along with the sectional. TV worked. Campfire pit was great. Canoe and kayaks had paddles and were available for free, which was...

"This is a true gem. Old but updated cabin so you get the best of both worlds. The kids had a blast and this was awesome to have family members out for a day without houses and people right next to you. Storm came through...a bog was floating towards the island. The kids thought that was pretty cool. We will definately be back!"

"We brought our youth group here for our annual summer retreat. This place fit all of our needs perfectly. Everyone had a place to sleep, the house was stocked with more than enough utensils and supplies to make meals for a group of 18 seem easy, and the grounds made for a welcomed change-of-pace. "Very well appointed home on a gorgeous lake! Our family takes a “lake vacation” every summer for the past 10+ years and this home is at the very top of the list of places we’ve stayed at!
