If you love nature and stepping away, this property was a great way to unplug and enjoy nature. Lots of woods behind the house to explore, a pretty little stream along the property and plenty of front yard for kids to play! We loved it!"

"The cabin was nice as was the area where it's located. It was stocked with everything you could ask for, dishes, towels, flatware, even coffee and we liked it a lot except for 2 things... the Internet was very slow and spotty. It seemed to do okay with the TV and our phones, but once the laptop was connected, all internet service stopped. This was the same for all three days we were there. Also, it might be helpful if one of the Uncle Joe's Creek Retreat signs were placed at the actual entrance...

"We need a place to stay the night because we had a doctor appointment the next day. We arrive around 4:30 got settled quickly and ran to town to grab some dinner. The unit Ruby was clean, comfortable, and close to town. Internet was quick, we had two phones, two iPads, and a lap top all on at the same time. We would definitely stay again. "

"We took our anniversary trip there to turn off the electronics and never get out of our robes! It was so relaxing and the hot tub has a waterfall feature that acted as our sound machine while we slept with the screen doors open and wind and rain in the night. Sooo Good! I definitely recommend this place to unwind."

"This is a great secluded cabin to get away from your phone and internet. Cabin is very clean and well kept. Great price for a great cabin!"

"Stay was awesome. We found our cabin quickly because we had instructions from owner. But address wasn’t correct, no sign at entrance, so our daughter could not find us tell we talked to her. Had everything we could possibly need to complement our cooking. Good beds, good appliances, huge rooms, beautiful interior wood walls & floor. Pieces making up the doorways were exceptional. We had a great time.Could have used more outside area for hosting small gathering, ( meaning picnic table, outdoor...

"We stayed in this cozy studio cabin over the weekend and absolutely loved it! It was peaceful and quiet, with breathtaking views all around. The covered porch was perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. We were on the go with friends during our stay, but we’re already looking forward to coming back and relaxing more — especially around the firepit while taking in those stunning views."
