"We arrived shortly after hurricane Helene came through. The property was clean. Access to the community was easily obtained. The view was beautiful and I enjoyed watching the geese from the balcony. Very peaceful property. The house had what was needed for the short stay. We didn’t cook but used dishes for coffee/takeout. A lot of dishes are provided. Please note there are stairs from the driveway and then to get in the house. This is noted in the description but it bears mentioning again. If...

"We needed a last minute place to stay close to the zoo and thought it might be nice for our kids to be closer to nature so we gave it a shot and it was perfect! We only needed a place to sleep for one night so space wasn’t an issue and the fire pit was the cherry on top. "

"Beautiful property in a recently renovated home. We had 7 adults and 3 little ones and were great on space. Deck under cool tree cover was nice!"

"It was an idyllic weekend getaway with my daughter at Robin’s Nest. Our favorite part was looking forward to spectacular sunsets on the terrace that sits above the lot! The terrace had plenty of comfortable furniture where we could enjoy the view, eat, listen to music and talk. The actual unit was cozy and intimate with a great air conditioner that kept us cool though it was very hot outside. "Arranging our trip and checking in was seamless. The home was perfect in size for our needs and very clean and homey. The host was always available if needed. The basement game room area kept us entertained in the evenings. Would love to return to this property in the future"

"House was incredible and exactly as described. Host was a great communicator after we had a few questions on how to reset stuff due to an incredible lightning storm that caused power surges. The house sits in a great Cove with deep water and a very functional boat dock that we fully utilized. We plan to book again on our next trip to the lake. We would recommend this house and host to anyone."

"We really enjoyed our stay. We were a family of 6. The house was clean. There was plenty of room inside and out side. We caught plenty of nice size cat fish and crappies. The only down fall was the 2nd day there the water looked stale & murky but cleared up the next day. So we did get to enjoy the lake. "

"Our daughter got married this past weekend. We were looking for a place that was pretty close to the venue since we lived out of town that would accommodate our large family. We luckily found this lake house at Badin Lake. It was absolutely perfect for our family and accommodated all of us. We love the game room and the view of the lake. Every day from every part of the house was gorgeous. We definitely will be back."
