"The property is great the neighborhood is rough but the building and all aspects of this bed and breakfast are great. I recommend a uber when leaving dont walk from this place we where basically attacked a block away."

"The room was great, remodeled and clean. The staff was kind and quickly assisted with check-in. I was disappointed that the pool and the gym were closed, said they were being renovated. Area has plenty of places to eat and it was quiet and peaceful at night."

"It wss very noisy with airplanes. The esr plugs were good. The people in the next room yelled and used foul language. The toilet wasnt working correctly. We had to plunge it ourselfs. When handed a plunger by the worker. We have stayed here before it was a vetter experience before. "

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location, comfortable bed and pillows. Only downside was the idiot that hammered on our door at 1am then ran away. But you can't fault the hotel for their clientele."

"Beautifully restored house with spacious, clean rooms. The staff were all extremely nice and accommodating. They even thought of all the little things that make a B&B special like leaving rain ponchos out for the guests on rainy days and leaving a variety of freshly baked goods out for late night snacks. It was a 15 minute ride to Churchill Downs and 5 minutes from downtown Louisville. But, there were many restaurants and pubs in short walking distance. I highly recommend the Market Street Inn. "

"The hotel is a classic! You can feel the 1930's when you walk in. The staff and the history is the highlight. The shuttle service is truly spectacular and the Valet guys are marvelous. Saturday and Sunday the breakfast is top notch. We will definitely be back. "
