The property was great, but a very big problem was a complete power outage shortly after I arrived. I have a broken arm, and it was modtly dark with a few tiny lights. The temperature overnight was 4 degrees. No electric blanket, microwave, charging devices no hot water etc etc etc.I left after one night because power was not restored. I believe I deserve my money returned at least for the night I wasn't thereRegards Trish Ryan

Lovely hosts - lovely place to stay

Our hosts Michael & Sylvia were wonderful - they are passionate about Trentham & the region & provided us with lots of information, maps etc for our 3 day stay. Breakfast was provided & included 3 types of muesli, Red Beard bread and Sylvia’s home made jams, stewed rhubarb & apricots! A’meadow’s amenities are modern, spotless & comfortable - the spacious garden was a highlight. Would definitely stay again.
