"Very nice and large cabin. Wonderful screened in porch. Unfortunately I didn’t get to use all the amenities- but I’ll rent again hopefully in the fall. If you have a boat- the launch is nearby! "

"Loved the cottage! Only complaint is we could at times hear the people in the next cottage thru shared wall. And loud trains at night. Loved the neighborhood, places you can walk. Short drive into cute town and state park. "

"Cabin was clean and as described. It was cold, so we didn't get to enjoy the porch and outdoors. The pellet stove was fun. Check in and out was easy."

" The campground itself is pretty basic, with cheek to jowl RVs. We stayed in cottage #1 and, on check in, everything seemed good. However, upon entering the cottage we could feel the floor sink several inches in the center of the cabin, as if the subfloor was going to disintegrate each time we stepped on it, so we parked our luggage rack over that spot to avoid stepping on it. There is one couch that seats two people and a large TV which worked OK, but only a few feet from the couch so too...

"Perfect for our visit. The host is responsive and accommodating. House was clean and spacious, and had everything needed. The beds were comfortable. Steps away from Parrot State Park walking trail. A quick drive takes you to a cute little downtown area with plenty of options for a drink or lunch. We had a nice dinner at Sullivans Supper Club. Would stay again. Was so glad we could bring our pup! Thank you. "

"Great location to see around downtown LaCrosse. Bar next door kinda noisy til 2am but quiet otherwise. Love the industrial vibe with the decor. Would probably stay again! "

"Beautiful home and everything the owners describe is 100% accurate. It’s a very quaint home with all the amenities you need. The deck to drink coffee on was perfect. Comfortable beds, I can’t say enough about the home. Very clean. Very accommodating hostess and very kind. We would definitely stay again. Thanks so much for a great stay."

"Property was very clean and beds were comfortable. Views were incredible. Little bit of odd layout - there is no separate door to primary bathroom and the shower is very tiny in there- think cruise ship small. Soaps, shampoo and conditioner were provided. Very large jetted tub, but didn’t see a plug for that, so think it is not useable. Good location- less than 15 minutes to downtown La Crosse and very quiet neighborhood."

"There's so much to love this little house: fun decor and themed rooms, the history of the home and connection to the owners, nice quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the river, easy drive to downtown, fabulous backyard for the pup. Communication from the owners was fantastic. My college-age daughters and I enjoyed playing games, watching movies, walking the neighborhood, finding new restaurants, exploring parks and walking paths, and hanging downtown. "We stayed here over UWL graduation weekend. I choose this as it was close to everything, on the river, and we did not have to share space with anyone. The place was very clean and super cute inside. The owner gave me easy instructions and was easily available by phone when I needed to call. I would highly recommend this place!!"

"This is our third year making a trip to this delightful house for a long weekend. It is immaculate and has a lot of public space and 4 bedrooms each with their own bath. We look forward to it every year."

"We enjoyed the serenity of the property. A quiet place for 2 old friends to catch up. The house was very comfortable, everything seemed brand new & it was sparkling clean. Convenient location for everything we wanted to do. Would suggest adding a railing to the boat dock for safety. "
