The tub had bars but no shower seat and the tub was very slippery for her. The beds were also very high and she had difficulty just getting on the bed from the wheelchair. "Definitely not a 4.2! The room was not very clean. There were several dead bugs (not bed bugs). Candy and food behind the nightstand on the floor. Dust and cobwebs collecting in the corners of the room. Our sheets had a hole in them. Most of the towels we received either had hair stuck in them (gross!) or were threadbare and tattered. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly, but unfortunately that doesn’t make up for the horrible accommodations! "

"Loved the hotel, however our last day there for breakfast wasn’t the best. One of the staff members were overbearing. Was constantly in our way when making our waffles. Treated the adults like we were children. Very unacceptable in so many ways. We were monitored when making our waffles. I even was told I couldn’t add chocolate chips to my waffle mix. She tried telling us how long we should keep our waffles in the maker etc. my overall experience with this situation would prevent me from staying...

"My 1st time Staying at an Avid Hotel. Check-in was quick & the lady was very kind! Our room was 114 so right by the lobby, it was clean and quiet. We did have to ask for a roll of toilet paper because the 2 rolls on the hanger each maybe had 10 squares each. Not a big deal, though. My two dislikes? First to preface, the lady at check in said “the room has everything you need and nothing that you don’t.” Well the fridge in the room was very small & the only microwave was a small one in the lobby....

Carpeting stained and ripped. Front desk won’t answer a call and they are sitting in the front doing nothing."
