"Hard to check in and park. There is no office, just staff wandering around to check you in. Parking Terrible. We were woken up at 7:30 am and asked to move car. No place else to park. Charged some kind of environmental fee? The hotel does have a good view and the rooms were clean. I would skip this one."

"As a historic property there are some limitations on space and amenities. Nevertheless, the property is located in the heart of Gatlinburg and quite convenient. What really makes it special is its warm and welcoming staff. This includes those who prepare an enjoyable breakfast buffet each morning."

"The location was pretty. Each room had a river/creek view. Bear were in the area, which was cool! Faults...bathroom provides containers for complimentary shampoo, conditioner n shower gel BUT all were empty. Also, I booked this place for the hot tub n pool, which the hot tub was out of order. Convenient trolley service outside the hotel to bring to various locations in Gatlinburg. It was free and a great service for visitors. Nice not to get in a car and pay $20 for parking. Loved...

"Hotel is in a terrific location water park is always a hit with the kids. They had some issues with leaking water pipes they are in the process of repairing; so the ceilings are different colors but didn't effect us just wasn't as nice when you look up. I'm sure they'll get that taken care of before our next visit. "
