"Loved, loved, loved the fact that this was off the main drag of Gatlinberg and quiet. The room was so cool, we had a small living room that was in the log cabin style but very modern and comfortable. Also had a bedroom with a queen sized bed. Loved the bathroom with the very high "rain" shower. Very comfortable and easy to get to Gatlingburg and the Great Smoky Mountain national park no true host on site so hard to get any questions answered. "As a historic property there are some limitations on space and amenities. Nevertheless, the property is located in the heart of Gatlinburg and quite convenient. What really makes it special is its warm and welcoming staff. This includes those who prepare an enjoyable breakfast buffet each morning."

They had some issues with leaking water pipes they are in the process of repairing; so the ceilings are different colors but didn't effect us just wasn't as nice when you look up. I'm sure they'll get that taken care of before our next visit. "

"I seldom complete reviews but the stark contrast between the attractiveness of this hotel and room (balcony, hot tub, fireplace) and the comfort of the mattress was stark. After hiking over 14 miles in the mountains, the mattress still felt like sleeping on the ground. I expect a better mattress from Hilton."

"We stayed one night in the honeymoon cottage. A last minute get away with my husband. It was so cute. The prefect little cottage. It was very clean and overlooks the river. We will def stay here again."

"The staff was friendly, nice location and nice view from our room. There was a sign in the room that said they use a maid company to clean.. this is my only complaint from our stay. The room felt very dingy. There was dirty q tips left in the bathroom, the towels had long hairs on them and the carpet is in extreme need of being shampooed. We kept sandals on in the room because it felt so sticky. Room was also very dusty "
