This is a beautiful property. It's very grand looking. Front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. Property was clean. We didn't get an opportunity to try the swimming pool or jacuzzi. We did have the complimentary breakfast. I was disappointed in the food choices. They didn't have any hot protein items included. There was a flyer for an additional $8 for eggs/sausages. Unfortunately, there was also no decaffeinated coffee. We also had dinner in the Restaurant on Saturday evening. It was quite busy with patrons in for the Blue Jays game. There was only 1 waitress and NO bartender. We were a table of 7. Service was most definitely lacking. At the end of our meal, I asked to sign our bill to our room. The waitress said she would have to call and see if it "was allowed "?! I was shocked. Really? Then when I added a tip ( because
I felt bad that she was on her own trying to serve AND make drinks) she said AGAIN that she'd have to call for authorization?! I've never had this happen at a hotel we're staying at. The front desk had a copy of our credit card. It was very uncomfortable in front of the other guests at our table. The food was good but the whole experience not great.
