"The townhome week stayed in was quite new, very clean, and beautifully set up. Our only issue was that the heating in the bedrooms downstairs did not work, nor did the tv’s in the bedrooms. We reported these for maintenance upon leaving but this did not affect our 24 hour stay. The place was central to the township and easy to walk almost everywhere. Staff were Very helpful tour guides telling us the best places to visit whilst there. Thanks for the stay. "

"It was a lovely little place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The property had what we needed. The only thing lacking was the hole in the fly screen on the back door which let the flies in. The place itself was beautiful. I would go back."

"One of the best place we stayed over the last 10 years roaming around with our boys.We love the place so much that we mostly stay in enjoying the view while the fireplace keeps us warm and cozy. "We had such a lovely time at Simons 1850s Goldies cottage.Perfect for us, and our 2 big dogs loved the big fenced yards.They gave Simon plenty of licks when he came to show us the workings of the gate etc.We hired bikes and it was an easy 1.6km ride to town along the old rail trail.Watched some lovely sunsets and enjoyed one of the 3 fire places in the cottage on several nights.We certainly hope to return in the future and maybe do the whole rail trail from Port Fairy to Warnambool"
