"We chose the property for its central location as we had family coming together from all over the state. What a wonderful bit of luck to find this place. It was clean, well stocked with the basic supplies needed for our week. Plenty of space for us all, beds comfy, rooms cosy.A small problem with the heating was quickly addressed by the hosts and we were cosy and warm throughout the week.The views from the veranda were spectacular with many creatures to see. We even saw 2 wedge tailed eagles...

"Wonderful despite the rainy weekend. The tiny house was cosy with a toasty fire, or diesel heater when we wanted instant heat. The shower was hot, the bed comfy. Our hosts made sure we could get across the paddock to the tiny house when it was looking too damp for our car to make the journey in the wet. At night the stars were clearly visible from our own private river valley, complete with our own outside fire place beside the river. We took advantage of a tasty breakfast from the main house...

"Novella and Bob were wonderful hosts and very thoughtful which helped us settle us very quickly. As this was winter time we appreciated the fire already alight and even the electric blanket was on. "I had 5 staff staying at the house who were working in Ashbourne. They found the house difficult to find on the first night as they complained it wasn't very well signed. Admittedly it was dark when they arrived. They found the house cold. They said it was a very nice house but for these things. "
