Murray Street Retreat

The Murray Street Retreat is a newly built guest house which is homely, comfortable and stylish. You will be welcomed by new furniture, bedding, fixtures and fittings to make your stay enjoyable. With four bedrooms, including a kids retreat as well two bathrooms and a laundry we have everything you need for a family getaway.

Nestled amongst a lovely landscaped garden. Beautiful, quiet, tranquil yet only 500 meters to town so you can enjoy everything that Tocumwal and the southern Riverina region has to offer!

This guest house contains a fully functional kitchen, equipped with oven & stovetop and fitted out with appliances including fridge, toaster, kettle and sand which press. If coffee is a must for you, there are a number of cafes just a short walk into town that will quench that thirst.

Head inside and you've got your choice of four bedrooms to explore. Whether you choose the King sized master suite, or one of the other incredible rooms, you'll enjoy the luxurious 5 star hotel quality bed linen and wake up every morning feeling like you're in your home away from home.

You're never far from the glorious outdoors here, as a short walk takes you straight to the iconic Murray River. You can even head into town to visit one of the many opportunity shops or cafes for a bite to eat.

With open plan living and fully appointed kitchen, everything you need to relax or even cook up a storm is at your fingertips.

Upon booking, you will have access to our entire property including the front garden & yard surrounding the home. The guest house is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden including citrus trees in the backyard. You are welcome to enjoy this space as we do!

Enjoy evenings in the multiple alfresco areas whether you are dining outdoors, or having a wine and relaxing by the festoon lights in the garden.

Our stay at Murray Street Retreat was everything we hoped for and more! We were a family of 8 adults visiting Tocumwal for a very special family occasion and were delighted with the beautiful home and garden that accommodated all of us perfectly. The location is ideal with just a short walk into town and to the river. The house was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, quality furnishings, towels and linens. We enjoyed a lovely barbecue in the outdoor entertaining area which is ideally set up. Mira and Daniel are exceptional hosts and went out of their way to ensure our stay was a special time.My family and I wholeheartedly recommend Murray Street Retreat.Thank you for everything Mira and Daniel.

My three friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly because the house had four dedicated bedrooms so we all had our privacy. It is a lovely, open & airy house with everything we needed.

We had a fantastic time. The place is stunning inside and out. It was the small things that really made the experience special, such as including Netflix, Stan and even kayo. There was even a beer pong set!

We had a fantastic stay over New Years. The house was as pictured with a beautiful outdoor area and short stroll to town.

Drove 3 hours, my family was stranded out in the heat for the whole afternoon and couldn’t access the property for 24hours. It was terrible check in process with the owners. Lack of communication and not contactable. Had to arrange and pay other accommodation the day of check in as unable to contact the owners. Daniel now refusing a refund that he originally agreed to in person and didn’t want to go through the Stayz App.

This property was so lovely, modern and clean, such a great space to spend some time away with family or friends. Daniel and Mira were so lovely and extremely understanding when our stay was cut short due to border restrictions. We would recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning

We enjoyed our stay in Toc. Lots of bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a big screen. Perfect for what we needed. I would recommend Mira’s place to anyone coming to the Riverina.
