"Property near train track and river, but home is well insulated and blocked most all sound. Neighborhood quiet and respectful. Quick walk to mainstreet, Katy trail, casino area. Exterior is not a reflection of interior. Exterior could use a power wash. Interior is simple, yet welcoming. Communication with property owner/manager was timely and clear."

"I needed a nice quiet place to sleep for the night. And this place is it. If you don't want the bussiness of all the places at the Ozarks, or qant something quiet, quaint and peacefull. This is the best option. Very friendly hosts. "

"We had a great stay at the lake at sunrise retreat. The house was great and had everything that you need for a lake stay. There was plenty of parking, we had 3 trucks with trailers. We will be back"

"The village of Lupus is unique, and the scenery is gorgeous. Cottage is clean, cozy and well appointed. A bit too far for back-and-forth to Mizzou, but perfect for a restful weekend away. "

"We were very pleased with the house. It was homey and was even nicer than it looked in the photos. The view was beautiful and it was so nice to sit out on deck and visit. We would stay there again. "

"The Location is exactly as listed, more than enough room for 6 adults. We had a great long weekend, nice fishing right off the dock, house had plenty of space for us, everything you need is included with the house. Very nice grill on the upper deck and kitchen is equipped for anything you would want to cook. Quiet area at night, great spot for sunsets and looking at the stars at night. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this spot, it was everything we expected and...

"We sold this house to Terri and Jim a few years ago. We built it in 2007 and have so many wonderful memories with our family there. It’s great that we can come back and enjoy this place like we always did before. Terri and Jim were wonderful hosts and all of their updates were amazing additions to this already very wonderful home. "

"The cabin was spotless and so thoughtfully prepared. The owner added special touches like homemade cookies, plenty of towels, toiletries, and extra linens. Everything was tidy, comfortable, and very welcoming. Highly recommend!"

"Our family had a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day & my son’s 12th Birthday at this cottage. Jason provided great communication the whole trip and the cottage provided everything we needed for a great weekend. The kids loved swimming/fishing off the dock and the neighbors were very welcoming and kind to my children as well. The kids (and Dads) also loved the arcade in the basement. Great area of the lake to stay. Lots of memories were made and we appreciate the stay! "

"This small cabin had everything our group of 5 needed. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything, the views were serene and the deck was peaceful. We enjoyed the fun decco and the attention to detail. We were able to rent a boat from affordable rentals for a day. Be sure to take time to swim off the docks. We loved the Blackstone! We would definitely come back!"
