FAMILY FRIENDLY weekend getaway on the Yorke Peninsula

A renovated 3 bedroom home with everything you need!

Only 1.5 hours from Adelaide, this split level home is a short walk, and even shorter drive from the beach. Located one street back from the beach, you can see the water from the front deck, and watch the sun set over farmland from under the back pergola. With a full functioning kitchen, including a massive gas oven and dishwasher, air conditioning, wood fire, washing machine and roomy lounge to relax on, this is your home away from home. The King size bed in the spacious Master Bedroom gives a sense of luxury, with the 2nd bedroom having a Queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom having 2 single beds (and 2 trundle beds) for the kids. Ample room in the backyard for the kids to run around and play, and the adults can relax by the fire pit at night. Head to Ardrossan to walk the jetty, find a playground or just relax with a coffee at Wilmas on the Yorke cafe. Ardrossan also has takeaway food options, IGA supermarket and Bottleshop, just a 5 minute drive away.

Tiddy Widdy Beach

Lovely house . No wifi but well equipped otherwise. Great for families especially with young children but don’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues. We couldn’t enjoy the back garden as two of us couldn’t use steps at back door. No access otherwise

Neat and tidy

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless and had everything we needed, right down to the small touches like toothpaste and laundry conditioner. It’s clear the host has thought of everything. The area was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax and recharge. Big thanks to the host for such a comfortable and welcoming stay—we’d definitely come back.

Perfect spot

A wonderful house and amenities, exceeding our expectations. The back yard is a great size and the beds are really comfortable. The Directions on the welcome email is a bit backwards. Your have to turn Left onto Murray Road, then Right onto Hoskin Road, not the otherway around!

Easter Bowls Tournament

Once again we stayed at Tiddy Widdy for the Ardrossan Bowls Club Easter Four day tournament.While the weather was inclement, we still enjoyed ourselves staying in this very comfortable and well equipped house. Only a five minute drive into Ardrossan the property is very convenient.

Yorkes, lovely part of the world

Very nice place to relax and chillout. Comfortable and well kept. Our only issue was no wi-fi, and no smart tv, but overall, very good for the price.

Family getaway

We had a wonderful stay at your lovely holiday house! The location was perfection for a morning beach trip, back for lunch and naps then back to the beach for the afternoon. The kids had a blast thankyou we will be back

Great little stay!

We had such a great time basing ourselves here & travelling aroung Yorke's. The beaches are deserted & to can walk for miles (great with a hyperactive dog!) The crab rakes & pot were very welcomed but, please bring beach shoes, the barnacle covered rocks at low tide will slash your feet! We could've lived off blue swimmer crabs for days, fishing was great & the house has many activities for all ages. Scott is great at communication & answers every querie. My wife's only gripe was that the Dyson died after less than a minute because she wanted the floor to be spotless (we have a dyson at home that does the same). This was our base for exploring Yorkes & it was bloody fantastic! P.S Fish & squid from Ardrossan jetty & use the wind breaks at the end!

All you need for a perfect stay

We had a lovely stay at Tiddy Widdy Beach. Ardrossan is a short distance away and the house location is a short walk from the beach. Everything is provided, even a delonghi coffee capsule machine. Everything was clean and the bed we slept in was comfortable. We had our two dogs with us and the backyard is fenced and ideal for them. There was nothing we didnt like. Thank you for making it possible to travel with our dogs and stay in nice accommodation while exploring the Yorke peninsula.

Good place to stay. It just needs the side gate to be secured so the dog can be in yard unsupervised. Kitchen and bathroom could be cleaner on arrival.

WONDERFUL

This property was very clean. Comfortable furniture and bed. Modern amenities in kitchen, everything you could need. We were there in August and it was very warm and cosy. Good location, close to beach, close to Ardrossan. Bonus that we could take our dog and very secure backyard. Could not fault it. Easy check in and out, hassle free.

Quiet space and time to reenergise.

Lovely house, easy to find, easy to look after, many chives of in hose activities. Plenty to do outside. Eat in or out. Walk easily to beach or around the coast or farming areas.

Nice little getaway

Was a nice spot for a couples getaway. Unusual floorplan to the home but guessing it has had a couple of makovers. Was good for the pooch too but she didn't like the stairs to the backdoor much due to her age. Would definitely book again.

Yorke getaway

The property was well presented and clean. It was exceptionally well equipped with kitchen and entertainment goods. It would also be ideal for a family as children are very well catered for, with games, and even a big chalk board to keep them amused. Great place to stay
