"I was disappointed with my stay at The Westin Monache Resort Mammoth. Before, arrival, I sent two messages asking a simple question about room amenities, but I never received a response. "Our stay at Sierra House was great. We were visiting over the July 4th holiday and stayed in their new buildings. The forest view was stunning from the top floor and the rooms were brand new, clean and very tastefully decorated. "I mean for $600 for two nights you would think they would refresh your room but alas they didn’t. Ice makers were all broken, hotel bar was closed, and jacuzzi was broken too. Don’t know what I paid for but wasn’t that. Hotel staff was very sweet, however, no complaints there."

"The room was cozy and clean. I could tell there were recently upgrades to the room like fresh paint. The bed could use a new mattress but not horrible. My only other suggestion would be hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels. But all in all I really enboyed my stay and will book there again. They were very accommodating as far as my request for a downstairs unit."
