Power outage hit shortly after we checked in and lasted more than 24 hours (so no lights — except emergency lights, no heat, hot water, elevators, breakfast…) — not something they could control, but staff didn’t seem to know anything about what to do in these circumstances. They shrugged a lot. Said they could comp parking charges. While guests struggled to open and close sliding electric doors, staff sat in chairs in the lobby and watched. There was a lot of loud noises from other rooms that kept us up. We also reserved a king bed and got a queen bed upon arrival because the king rooms were full. "

"I dont normally leave reviews but i wanted to with this one. The hotel needs a little love, but it wasnt terrible. The moment i walked in, the smell of mold was present, and has been my ENTIRE stay. But i dont think this can be helped - they are by a river. I am not sensitive and so far my husband has not been either, and he has allergies. This may change come morning though. "The hotel overall was in poor condition. Rooms are not cleaned daily and my room had stains on the mattress cover and a layer of rust/dust/grime covering most surfaces. Other guests were loud, inconsiderate, and sketchy overall. There is also literally nothing around the hotel so if you’re in town without a car, you will not have access to amenities. Pros are that the room size was good for the cost. "
