When I first checked into my room, I noticed that there was stains on the bed. There was hair in the bed under the cover. there were stains on the desk chair multiple stains. There were multiple stains on the sitting chair in the room, there were multiple stains on the couch. I don’t know if this looks like bodily fluid or what but it was very gross. I then proceeded to go downstairs to the manager and advise him of the issue and instead I was told that he would have to downgrade my room. The refund process would be a longer process to go through with Expedia and Expedia would have to call them. It was a process that would’ve inconvenienced me on my vacation. The assistant manager, then offered to not only downgrade the room, but when I said that I would prefer a room that I paid for he actually said nicely I don’t want to do I don’t wanna seem like I’m kicking you out but we can cancel your reservation. At this point in time I had to suggest to the manager for the type of room that I had booked if somebody had not checked in theirs, that he should go ahead and give me that room, and then place the people who check in later in the room that I have been assigned after it have been clean thoroughly. It was then that the asst. manager asked an employee to take me to a another possible room he had to replace the one that I had booked and this room was dirty as well with same exact issues. I was very uncomfortable but I feel like I had no choice. I was in tears at the front desk.
