"I LOVED Carol. She was welcoming and kind, made an amazing breakfast for me, answered all my questions. A great hostess. My room (12) was super clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows and extra blankets. Nice big TV. The water pressure was really low but I think that’s typical in older buildings. The garden was peaceful and I enjoyed sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Great stay. Traveled from Canada."

"We stayed a couple of week days and were allocated a lovely room in the annex. Bed was really comfortable and room was well decorated. Lovely quiet location. Food in the restaurant was excellent too. I recommend the hanging seafood kebab. We attended a family event in the on-site function room and this was well catered. One couple decided to stay the night even though they lived locally as there were already a number of us staying there for the family event. The last remaining room was a family...

"Beautiful location set back in large park; rooms are in a purpose-built annexe behind pub, so no pass through noise (although pub was generally quiet and very nice, especially the garden); easy parking; short drive to Hepworth Museum; breakfast was delicious; friendly and efficient welcome. Great option for those looking to break up journey between London and Scotland, or just visiting the area."

"Small room but perfect for what we needed for one stay following a trip to watch footie in Burnley. The lady on breakfast service was very kind and friendly and we all enjoyed the breakfast - would stay again and great we could bring the dog too"

"6 people stayed in our group. Disappointing that we were charged £25 per couple for early check-in. Even as it was only 30 minutes before normal check in. Reception was not up to speed with our bookings as we had pre-paid for everything but when we checked out they got mixed up and printed bill for full amount. Until we very politely informed them. Also whilst good range of breakfast delights very slow service"
