"Accomodations were spacious and clean, but it's apparent the owner is reluctant to update the property. The living room furniture is like sitting in a hole, the desk needs repair and the landscaping outside the building has been neglected. It's way overgrown, full of dead wood and weeds."

"We enjoyed our stay. It was close to town, but felt to be miles away. The grounds were large with a walking trail and firepit. The lobby is beautiful and check-in was quick. Would definitely recommend a stay here."

"We had a wonderful stay at Under Canvas Mount Rushmore. The staff were all super friendly. Loved the dinner, meeting other guests over smores and the campfire, and hanging out on the deck with a (distant) view of Mount Rushmore. The facilities were all very clean. Will definitely check out some other Under Canvas locations!"

"Property was clean but needs some updating. Wall outlets loose, drain in tub backed up quickly, no hooks to hang towels in the bathroom. Heard everything from the floor above. Breakfast was good and accommodating to certain allergies."

"Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was nice sized even with rollaway cot. Lots of activities for kids, teens, adults, and groups to enjoy with daily activity sheet available to help plan the stay. Camped here in one of the little cabins 30+ years ago and had so much fun with my kids. This year in Lodge with grandchild was even better. "
