"This hotel is a short drive to Monterey or even Santa cruz. It's not your average hotel where you wonder if the people are on vacation or if they're actually living there. It's right on the water which is near the Elkhorn Slough. You might see otters in the water and there are a variety of birds right outside of your window. The room was super cute. You have access to the shared kitchen and dining room in the house on the property. I will definitely be staying there again."

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Heard running back and forth on the ceiling at night from people above us, all 3 nights of the stay. Came out of shower and there was no blow dryer. Front desk said they could not get one until the next day. It didn't help me at the time I needed it. Tried the breakfast the first morning. Sorry, but cheapest ingredients. Bad quality. No cream cheese for dried out mini bagels. Scrambled eggs sitting in water. I will try a different hotel next time...

"This is a motel you stay at because you HAVE TO. This is not a place you go if you are looking for a relaxing vacation. I booked because I bought into the whole garden vibe and when i got to the hotel it was abysmal...even if it had a magical garden it wouldn't have made the stay any better. Would not recommend. Canceled the additional night booked. Would have been happier in my car."

"You get what you pay for is what my husband said to me. I had to laugh because he was right. The staff was friendly though and tentative. So that was a plus. We checked in to our room and realized that the door doesn’t have the chain lock. So we felt weird and put a chair to block the door knob. Then I went to shower and the shower head wasn’t working. "Please do not stay at this property. We were “welcomed” by a musty smelling room with no coffee machine, a missing smoke alarm with hanging wires, ripped token blanket and a filthy dirty ceiling in the bathroom. The management is destroying the brand name. I plan to complain to Radison as well."
