"Absolutely wonderful! The staff was so kind and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. And chic. The hotel lobby and bar was both relaxing and fun. Location was walkable to all things Savannah with lots of restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again!"

"For being an old building, it was great. Service was excellent. I loved the wine and cheese reception each night! Breakfast was wonderful. Valet brought our bags up and have us a history on the hotel! I didn't sleep at all but I think that's related to the paranormal aspect of this place, which also is awesome! Overall loved"

"When booking I wanted a true Savannah feel and this is exactly what I was hoping for! Two houses combined together and the room we had was grand, clean, well decorated. Felt like a piece of history. Check in and out were easy. The neighborhood is so cute and we walked to the river while enjoying the streets of Savannah. Highly recommend!"

"Godley Manor made our stay in Savannah a joy. After all of our daytime travels it was like returning home. Continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful making for a wonderful start of the day. Our host was easily reachable and made sure all our needs and requests were taken care of. We would definitely stay here if ever visiting Savannah again. We have told everyone if they visit Savannah to stay at Godley Manor."

    The majestic historic Lucas Theatre opened in 1921 to a sold-out viewing of the film "Camille." Designed by architect C. K. Howell for Arthur M. Lucas, a leading theatre entrepreneur, the four-story terra cotta, concrete and steel building was originally designed for silent movies and vaudeville performances. The ornate exterior is matched by an elegant interior in the Adamesque style, with Italian marble stairways, Wedgewood inspired colors and gold leaf accents, all restored to their original beauty. A 40-foot wide ceiling dome greatly adds to the splendor of the building.
