"The property was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The room was modern and very comfortable. The downside was that loud music was playing for several hours in the pool area. We finally called the front desk at 1am about it. The staff said that they had not been able to hear it from inside. They were apologetic and took care of it immediately. Just wish we had called down sooner. Overall a good stay."

"The Oceaneer surprised us in many ways. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, and the property is exceptionally clean.
The recent renovation gives the place a very modern feel. They did an excellent job transforming the old motel rooms into cozy, contemporary spaces with a nicely updated bathroom and shower. They even managed to fit a small sofa into the room. (The only slightly odd thing was that the table was bolted to the floor and couldn’t be moved.) The A/C...

"The room was clean and big enough with good access and view of the beach. Kitchen was equipped enough of useful utensils. Somewhat of an oversight is the loud smoke detector almost directly in the vicinity of the stove and oven where smoke will definitely rise if you are cooking. Hence, the alarm blared while we were cooking."

"Regrettably, stayed only one night, as I came down with a viral respiratory infection and had to return home.
Staff kindly worked quickly to refund my remaining balance paid.
NO fun to be sick @ the beach and waste money for nothing... horrible congestion & no appetite, so decided to "cut my losses."
Will return in July & October for additional weeks. Room was great and spotless, though minimally used."

The beach was low key and quiet.
My one gripe was having to pay for beach chair and unbrella, but since parking is free I guess that balances out"
