Room was very large and loved the bathroom overlooking a small private planted courtyard. the view across the lake from the pool is amazing and a great place to relax. food was very good and the spa massage was also very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. we had the inclusive package which was amazing value for what we paid"

"An Oasis in a sea of concrete buildings! This place is perfect if you like traditional wooden structures with bamboo thatching set around a tranquil green courtyard with seats and hammocks, But it isn’t suitable as a party space so this should keep it as a place to read after a day doing adventure activities It is just a short walk to the main section of town with key restaurants including a super popular vegan one but lots of excellent meat options if that’s your preference and directly across...

"Had an excellent 3 day stay here. Beautiful location, excellent staff, and the restaurant served up delicious food as well. Slightly on the edge of town, but city center was just a 10-15 min walk away. And the hotel offers a free shuttle in if you don’t feel like walking. "

"We loved staying here so much that we extended our stay for a few extra nights. As budget backpackers, this was perfect. It is very central but not loud at night. The owner is lovely and very accommodating. Rooms are basic but quite spacious. Breakfast is handy- eggs and bread. "

"The room is nice. Service are great as well as the breakfast. The view is also beautiful on the river side and from the swimming pool, it‘s really relaxing. Stay here for the second time, still love it. Only thing that should be improve is the air-con. Seemed like all the room we‘re staying this time including our friends‘ rooms, the air-con wasn‘t quite cool enough even though we‘re turning to only 18c with highest fan speed already. "

"Loved the pool on the 2nd floor lots of great sun exposure but they need lounge chairs to relax on while sunbathing or just relaxing. Only have tables with full bench seats, bo place to lay down. Also provide some umbrellas for those who want to sit outside under some shade. This is a really new hotel and I believe they will provide in the near future, a work in progress as a matter of fact they haven't finished installing the lights on the wall next to your bed. Also noticed they didn't...

"A great choice in Vang Vieng. The shipping container rooms are novel, comfortable, clean and cool. (I think Mr Kong is a bit of a genius.) Good AC, comfortable beds, nice showers, OK breakfast (but you'll need to grab a decent coffee nearby at Kiwi, or a 10 minute walk to wonderful Naked). The location is great. Across the river from the noisier main drag but there's a walking bridge next to the hotel. It's quiet at night. There are 3 very good restaurants nearby- the pizza place, Kiwi...

"The Central Hotel is located on the Main Street of Vang Vieng but there’s no noise heard in the rooms. The rooms are very spacious (I had room 302) and the bed is comfortable. The only draw backs were the AC wasn’t great and there doesn’t seem to be a daily (or weekly) room clean. Besides this it was a comfortable enough stay and the staff were very helpful. There is lots of activities and plenty of restaurants on the street and Gary’s Irish Bar is 100m away ! There is a nice breakfast selection...
