"We had a lovely stay at the Hideaway for a work offsite event, the house was big enough to comfortable sleep everyone, lots of living space that was clean and warm and the house was well stocked and had so many things for us to do to keep busy, it provided a wonderful weekend for us all! "

"Had a lovely family weekend getaway. Plenty of space for 17 people. The house had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of bathrooms, loved the fireplace inside and the fire pit outside. Host Matt was very responsive to questions and a great host. Definitely recommend!"

"Property was comfortable for 14 people. Only stayed two nights with extended family but overall was very nice. Could use a bit of attention in places. On tank water so supply not reliable. Rustic but charming location."

"What better place to bring families together under the one roof! We had a great family reunion and Sophie's Farmhouse helped create the atmosphere for conversations and family memories. Nights by the fire, pizza making, walks, runs and lots of simple moments making lifetime memories."

"When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. Inside we discovered a filthy kitchen, glassware and cooking utensils, stained cushions, carpets, chairs and couch, horrendously dirty inside windows, a desolate deck, dismal firepit area, and a creepy caravan in the bushes. "We had a fantastic time at Kathleen and Ken’s farm stay. We absolutely loved the beautiful scenery, sunsets and sunrises, fire pit at night, and of course all the animals. We were made to feel most welcome and would love to return again sometime! "

"The house is very comfortable and convenient.Plenty of heaters to warm up the house.Some nice supplies in the kitchen including a bottle of orange juice, milk etc.The backyard has some nice outdoor activities for children and plenty of outdoor settings for parents to relax. "Check in was simple. The home was extremely inviting and well appointed. Wonderfully peaceful. The only complaint we would have is that the BBQ was filthy and the heating elements were falling apart. It obviously hadn't been cleaned under the hot plates for a significant period of time. The only other problem we had was that in the bedroom next to the master, the hanging rail fell down as it didn't have all the screws required to keep it in place.
