"The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. "The Hoops is a lovely country inn with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean and comfortable especially the bed. A well stocked tray with tea, coffee, water and biscuits. Towling robes were also provided. Breakfast, lunch and dinner had good choices and the cooked food was delicious"
