"The hotel is in a good position and has everything you need. However, it is in dire need of a refurbishment. The rooms are tired, worn down and at least 20 years since being redecorated. For what you pay, I would expect a larger bathroom. The Peloton bikes, and there are 5, at least 3 don't work, and they are all falling apart and look like they have never been serviced. As for the lifts, they are terrible, and can't service the guests; you could wait 10-15 minutes! It was so bad when we checked...

"This hotel is in a central NYC area for access to times square, broadway shows, midtown adventures, bus authority, and subway. Its thin, tall, and just what you need if you will not be in your room much. Alejandra was great at the front desk. She upgraded our room to a better spot and even got us into our room before checkin. Lovely after a morning of traveling. The breakfast area was packed. Its nice breakfast was including, but could barely fit in there even early in morning. Great to grab...

"Stayed at the Empire Hotel last week for a week while I worked in Manhattan. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby had lovely jazzy vibes. I asked for a quiet room as I needed good sleep to work and they provided the perfect room. It is perfectly located beside the Lincoln Centre and the subway is a 2 minute walk. I will stay again for sure."
