Dreamlike living directly on the shore of the fjord near the mountain Borgundkollen.



This modern vacation home, in a ravishing location right by the fjord, is a nature lover's paradise. The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, which let in more daylight and bring nature right into the living room, give an airy feeling of space, peace and warmth and blur the line between inside and outside in the most beautiful way. The modern kitchen invites you to cook together with a view, while those who don't like to cook can lounge on the sofas, next to the crackling fireplace. Host fun game nights at the dining table and plan your excursions. Enjoy breakfast or dinner overlooking the emerald fjord water and fabulous mountains, and breathe in the fresh air on the wooden terrace or balcony. Walk out the door, across the terrace and jump into the glittering fjord.



Explore the numerous and beautiful hiking trails that will take you through breathtaking nature with rich plant and animal life. Borgundkollen promises you unforgettable hikes with beautiful trails up to the summit. From there you will have a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and the fjord. Also plan a boat trip, glide across the water in a kayak and enjoy the evening hours fishing on the fjord.

Nice and Nearly Ready for Prime Time

This is lovely little place is on Sykkylvsfjord, halfway between Sykkylven and Straumgjerde. It is brand new construction, similar to a vacation condo type unit, split level, and shares a common driveway and a very large outdoor deck on the fjord with three other units of similar vintage. We chose it for its central location in Møre og Romsdal county and day trip access to hiking trails and towns in several fjords in the region. The kitchen is small but does most everything you need. The induction stovetop had a few hiccups and the charcoal grill, which we were happy to have, had no grilling tools, both of which we reported to the owner. The owner was very responsive and with a little loving care, the unit should be very attractive in the future.
