The check in process was slow and complicated by fact the property went to charge me again for my reservation despite having already paid. It took about 10 minutes to resolve which isn’t a long time in the scheme of things but after a full day of travel it’s not exactly what you want. The room was ok except for the dust that was everywhere - on the curtains, around the bed and on the walls. The curtains auto open when you enter the room which is a cool feature except for it sprinkling dust everywhere which exacerbated my partners asthma. One of the towels provided was dirty with makeup stains everywhere on it and the door to the bedroom was falling apart.
The amenities in the room are good as is the location / proximity to darling harbour etc however I would not stay here again.
I booked a non-refundable room but did reach out to Expedia following the experience, they were unable to get me a refund/ partial refund but were incredibly helpful.
