"It was everything as advertised. Had good communication with Misty the owner. Really convenient to Caesar's Casino, restaurants etc. Everything was so clean and well laid out. After we recover from our losses at the Casino, we will probably rent it again when we return. Eileen Findlay/Pamela Houle"

"We stayed at Cottage on the Cove the first week of July, 2025. The property was lovely. All the bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds and plenty of room. Everyone had a blast witht he pingpong table, games and swimming. We had a few very hot days, however Tunnel Creek Winery was 13 minutes away, as well as antique shops, and restaurants. Carols Collectibles in Roxboro is a must visit. Walking through her maze of old artifacts many from well known historical figures is mind boggling. if she is...

"The home was perfect for our family. I have stayed at several VRBO’s and this one has been the easiest entry by far. I will definitely book this home again for our events at VIR. "

"We stayed four days for my Mom's 84th bd..This home is way way underpriced..Three bedroom 2 bath and a 4-8' pool..normally 350 would be reasonable.. I can't tell you the deal we received.. The Host answered ALL of our questions/ concerns within 5 minutes..What more could one ask for? "

"House is perfect for larger families or groups! Plenty of amenities and a great dock to fish off of. Pretty view, and very easy to access the property. Not too far from Danville, Roxboro or VIR. Since no house is perfect….the batteries in the remote for the TV need to be replaced. LOL. Other than that…house was perfect! Thank you! "

"The stay was great ! When we arrived it was right after the heavy rains that had some flooding that affected the dock access, but receded within a day. The home was is great order. We were informed of everything before arrival and chose to stay anyway ! The place is very nice and cozy, caretakers were very nice and accommodating with all that was happening at the time of our visit. Beautiful sunsets off the dock every evening. We will be back very soon !!"

"Beautiful location. It was great for our family but if it were for a family with teens of different sexes it would be difficult as all bedrooms are connected . You have to walk through each bedroom to get to your own bedroom or even to the bathroom. There is not a hallway. As you go up the stairs the first bedroom with beds is right there. It is a beautiful place very comfortable. I would go there again!!!"

"This is our third visit to the historic river district and we loved it again. It’s an easy walk for coffee, dinner and the bridge. We visited the farm market on Saturday morning as well. We love the convenience of our own place to stay while visiting family. "
