Looking for the perfect getaway relaxing by the beach? Roaring Beach Retreat has stunning views overlooking the white sandy beach, as well as the natural country charm of green rolling hills to the back. Wake up to these magnificent views and fall asleep to the sound of the waves rolling in. Roaring Beach Retreat is situated a short 10 minute drive from the town of Dover where all supplies can be found as well as restaurants. Or you may prefer to cook for yourself in the well equipped modern kitchen. Relax by the log fire or enjoy a DVD from the home collection. You can watch your favourite platforms by casting from your phone Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom as well as spacious surroundings.
Revive by taking a walk along the beach or through the surrounding farmland. Take the short ride to Hastings Cave and pool, or enjoy a day trip to Cockle Creek.
We are a dog friendly house. The yard is fully fenced so your dog will be safe and have room to run about. We are happy for dogs to be inside the house and there is a dog door available.

Great position with sea views. Well appointed home.Nearest town Dover has supplies in local supermarket but some might bring provisions if wanting more.Suggest those with mobility issues might assess if suitable as stairs up to top floor are steepish without handrail.

We had a wonderful time, best pet friendly place we have ever stayed. The house was just fabulous with all the lovely sea views and easy walk to the beach. A great kitchen for some cooking and what a fabulous open plan living area. The level of guest care and cleanliness was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Roaring Beach and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, it felt welcoming and genuinely pet friendly, which made all the difference for us. The property was clean, beautifully maintained, and truly felt like a home away from home.The location is unbeatable—right opposite a dog-friendly beach—making it perfect for relaxed walks and easy days by the water. The accommodation itself was very well appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable and restful stay.It was an incredibly relaxing experience overall, but the absolute highlight was being able to see the aurora from the verandas—an unforgettable and magical moment that made our stay extra special.

A beautifully maintained house right on the beach

The house is perfect for couples or large groups, with a well stocked kitchen, heaps of toiletries, comfy lounge chairs and a huge dining table. The two patios offer relaxed dining or sipping wine, both with views. This is the first time we have taken our deaf cattle dog on holidays, and it was perfect for him (as advertised). The back yard was securely fenced, and we could run him up and down the beach and indulge his passion for swimming. At night the only noise was the waves... sublime. The hostess has thought of everything. Many thanks.

Fabulous Everytime!!

Great location. Beautiful pet friendly home with superb views of the beach from the balcony! Lovely kitchen to cook meals with a large dining table & a beautifully large table on the balcony to sit & enjoy your meal watching the waves crashing on the beach.A short walk across the road to a beautiful beach.The Host communicates well & property easily accessed. FABULOUS!!

Worth planning for...

Roaring Beach Retreat is well named. Its a truly brilliant home beautifully appointed and comfortable in every way. The beach is stunning and if youre looking to getnaway from it all this is the place. I recommend doing a good food and wine shop and coming prepared ...Dover is only 10 minutes away and the IGA there is OK. The RSL also provides pub food but theres little else. Better to self cater kick back and enjoy the great vibe of Surveyors Bay. We spent 6 beautiful nights here and would absolutely recommend.

Beachside Beauty

Perfectly located across the quiet road from a fantastic white sand beach. It was a beautiful comfortable home with beachy decor. Very secure yard for our friends dog, who loved watching for rabbits. It was very well stocked and had everything we needed except a BBQ, but the kitchen works very well.Loved listening to the sound of the waves.Bug spray was essential in summer.
