"I absolutely loved this little cottage and can’t wait to visit again!! It had everything we needed and more. Loved the small private beach and watching the ferry crossing the James River. Spent time in Smithfield, which I want to do again and spent a day across the river visiting Williamsburg. I also got in a little fishing! The owner was great to work with and provided tons of info to make planning my visit perfect. I highly recommend this sweet little cottage! "

"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If...

"Great location close to it all"

"We really want to thank Jennifer and Gary for a wonderful place to stay! The home is beautiful in a very serene setting! When we checked in we thought it was way in the country, but it is actually very close to everything we needed and very close to all the historical parts of Williamsburg, Jamestown and York!It would be wonderful for several families with children to stay! Most of the bedrooms have private restrooms attached!Jennifer was very prompt answering any questions we had! Very nice...

"The location of this condo was excellent. There is lots to do nearby. It is well equipped with everyday essentials. If you like your morning coffee as I do, bring your own mug. The Keurig is a small 6oz maker. Though this did not hinder my stay at all. The pool was just outside and very convenient. There is an ice machine for all to use, by the pool. There was never anyone there when we would go down. Most people go to the lazy river pool. There is a nice beach arear by the dock where you can...

"The home was perfect and was in a great spot. I enjoyed the walk to Yorktown, the history, and plus the food. If you get a chance make sure you go Farmers market on Saturday’s. Nice walk and there was some amazing things at the farmers market. "

"It was an amazing stay. We were welcomed into a perfectly immaculate home that was exceedingly quiet the whole time. They have so many wonderful amenities right there. The only thing that took me by surprise was that one of the rooms is more of a loft because it doesn’t have a door on it. "
