Host was very accommodating, especially when we explained needed parking for a service van. My employee stayed here for close to a month and was very happy with the accommodations.

Liked-close to amenities like restaurants -spacious, quiet, price was right Didn’t like. No designated parking. One evening I had to drop my family off and park 2 blocks away and walk back to the unit. It was not well cleaned and in disrepair. Walls were dirty, bathroom fan was caked in dust and mold around the faucet in the tub. No extra towels or blankets, and towels were not in good condition. My son sat in a chair in the kitchen and it fell apart. Bed in main bedroom had a very bad dip in the middle of the mattress and was uncomfortable. The place need some TLC Wouldn’t stay again.

Wonderful stay!

Had an excellent stay at this VRBO. Easy access and great communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends who will be visiting this summer!

I would replace all condiments salt,pepper and any spices in secured shaker containers as they were all stale. Wouldn't use open bags of flour, sugar, etc. as cross contamination.

No communication from host. Had to ask to enter suite and get entry code from home resident. Parking not convenient No supplies for dishwasher No extra paper towels or toilet paper Host forgot that stay was extended one day and double booked. We were not able to contact host through Expedia or verbo. Verbo was able to correct double booking issue Sidewalk at steps to basement uneven and fall hazard Garden hose was placed across the railing at entrance steps at night and could not be seen. The cleaning lady was friendly

Cons: First of all, the host is never reachable by phone. Even when requested to provide a contact number for emergencies, he never shares one. The phone number listed on the website is always switched off. Secondly, the host does not provide proper parking arrangements. According to the instructions, guests are not allowed to park in front of the property's garage gate, even though it is always vacant, and are instead required to park on the street. In the evenings, street parking is extremely difficult to find. I had to spend around 20 minutes every day searching for a parking spot and often had to park four streets away. This caused significant inconvenience, especially since I was traveling with my elderly parents and an infant. Pros: Location is peaceful. 10-15 minutes drive from White rock beach.

The property was exactly as described and had everything we needed. It was clean and the owner responded promptly to any questions. I would recommend.

The kitchen hardly had any utensils, if the dishes werent in the dishwasher they were dirty. Half the tools were rusted and a few of them were falling apart. The trash can was already full and smelled rotten when i checked in and they gave only two small sized bags for the rest of my stay.

Poor communication with the Property Manger, pictures give you

The only benefit staying was it was close to our destination. The house was not cleaned, bed frame was squeaky and mattress was over used. Dirty bedding, washroom door and shower door was broken, only one toilet roll was available for our entire 4 day stay for the family of four. Poor communication with the manager as we left the property at 5 am he emailed at 11 to dispose the garbage regarding the additional fee that was charged.

There are accessibility issues in accessing the basement suite. Great care needs to be taken in navigating through the private back yard of this new house, down the stairs with handrails missing at the bottom run, and a very high threshold at the door. If arriving at night, a flashlight is needed. Noise transfer from the living quarters above may be an issue as is a very squeaky (although apparently new) bed. Otherwise very clean, fresh, and pleasant suite at a decent price.

Just okay

This stay was a mixed bag. Positives:They let us check in a bit early, which was nice. The kitchen was modern and spacious. It had the amenities listed. Negatives:The gate to enter was very nondescript and hard to find. We had to bother the person in the attached house, because we felt weird about going in the backyard. Maybe add signage or a lock with a code?There were exposed wires coming out of the wall in entryway. Not safe for kids. Hole in the wall by fridge. Broken chair in the dining area. Bedding was dirty/smelly. Toaster broken (left side smoked without any bread in it). Shower glass was missing. When you slide one side, it exposed the whole other side and shower spray could escape. We originally booked this listing with full disclosure that we would be bringing one small dog. The listing provided as an amenity that it was dog friendly. It never said that there would be an extra cleaning charge for bringing a pet. However, before check out, we were charged an extra 25 pet cleaning fee.I definitely won’t be staying here ever again and I would not recommend that anyone else stay here either until they get all of these issues worked out.
