"Clean, nice home perfectly located close to Mammoth cave and all activities in the area. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare simple meals. Loved the board games for the evenings and rainy day with the kids. Made us feel right at home."

"Beautiful and peaceful. Rhonda and Papa had the best hospitality. The cabin was cute and cozy. Very relaxing and the property is very beautiful. We enjoyed the view and the beautiful sunrise. Will definitely stay again!!"

"Beautiful clean house! We were super impressed with the layout, the amenities and the cleanliness. We really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing. My only disappointment was the view, it’s a nice view but the trees have matured and the view is not as good as I thought it would be. Of course this has nothing to do with the owners, it’s just nature. We would definitely rent again!"

"We were traveling for a really important family event and I couldn't believe I found a house only a few mins from our loved ones homes! The house was exactly as pictured and has a lovely black maple in the front yard. Everything inside was perfect and clean, so comfortable!! It really was such a relief to crash somewhere nice after being awake 24 hours and driving forever. There is also a small park down the street that was lovely, and plenty of cafes around! "We had our 3 daughters and my parents with us for this trip and the house was so spacious I never felt like 7 of us were on top of each other. The neighborhood was full of really friendly people and we were reasonably close to all sorts of fun things. The grocery store was really easy to get to, there were a million dollar general stores nearby if we just needed something simple like a bag of ice, and despite the lake levels being higher than usual my girls loved playing in the water. The kids...

"Rental was very clean and well stocked with whatever you'd need for your trip. Location was close to everything and it had lots of games and things to do as well. Only issue would be that the listing stated 2 queen beds but the beds were definitely full sized beds."

"The property was a great place to stay. It is centrally located to Mammoth Caves, Bowling Green and historical sites. It is only about an hour north of Nashville, which made for easy visits. If you want to be comfortable and relax, this is the place to be. The deck provides a great place to unwind after taking a day trip to local attractions."

"Our stay at Ida’s cottage was wonderful. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and met all our guests needs. Management was very responsive with all questions and concerns we had about our stay. Will refer others to this rental and look forward to another visit."

"Trip had to be refunded due to severe storm the night before arrival. Was able to partially access outside of the property before deciding to refund. Tree limbs blocked entrance to vrbo and driveway. Storm knocked power out for entirety of weekend. Very nice location. All communications with owner and VRBO refunding was quick and easy.. Will try to rebook in future. "

"Had a great weekend despite the bad weather and slow fishing. This was our third stay at this cabin. We would highly recommend it but do suggest a couple carpenter bee traps! "
