"This is a wonderful property. My family really enjoyed the pool, the house, the scenery and the farm. The hosts were gracious and welcoming. I would recommend it for a relaxing getaway. "

"Enjoyed every minute. The river-facing windows and deck allowed us to experience the view all day and night. Don’t be fooled by the charming vintage exterior because the amenities are all in excellent condition. The mattresses are among the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The bathroom is luxurious with the jacuzzi being everything you could ask for. Close to spectacular hiking trails and scenery. Highly recommend!"

"We had our sister get away(4 of us) . We had stayed there 10 years ago and really enjoyed it. One of our sisters sadly passed away in 2020, but we had lots of memories to talk about. We mostly played games on the deck or inside. The weather was perfect. The only negative is that there needs to be a shower pad in the upstairs bathroom. Very slick while taking a shower. "We absolutely loved our stay at the Vintage Charmer Vrbo! It was the perfect little home away from home; clean, cozy, and full of character. The owner went above and beyond with her hospitality. "We had a great time this weekend hiking around and coming back to the cabin and building a fire. The TV worked great for when we were going to bed at night. The kitchen had what we needed to cook a fine meal. I would definitely book again in the future."

"We had a wonderful stay on Paradise Lake! The adorable cottage is well appointed with all the comforts of home. The view from the living room is a beautiful view of the lake. It was peaceful and relaxing. The location is well lit at night. We appreciated all the amenities this place offered! We will be back to this hidden gem again!! "We had an incredible time on lake Mattoon. My 18 year old son was shocked at how cool the place was and layed out. Lakeside in a clean well funished home. I can't say enough of how great the stay was. We will be back! "

"Even better than the pictures. The cabin is an 1850s cabin that was reassembled on the property. It was adorable. Had everything we needed. The area is beautiful. There are several cabins and tree houses on the property but each has more than enough privacy from the next. We came with our two young daughters and they had a blast. "This little cabin by the river was such a nice place to unwind and explore all that the Willenborg Woods have to offer. The trails are clearly marked and take you through a variety of views. The hosts were responsive and helpful during the entire stay, with the highlight being a morning basket of farm fresh eggs, hot coffee, and a warm, delicious pastry. We could not recommend this rental enough!"
